    The cabal? Who are they?

Sounds like you're making things up again, at least you're consistent.

And this is pure attention seeking. Please send the link proving there is "enough aid".

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

The posters on this thread . Including your good self.

Note the language. It wasn't a terrorist attack . A few people were attacked is all it was.

You saved me a post. Amazing how ignorant of the situation some posters are.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭Rocket_GD

You're a poster on this thread, so you're part of "The Cabal" too?

Or is it just people who oppose the current and ongoing genocide?

    That's not anti-semitism. That's anti-Zionism.

First off, I'm talking about the Zionists. There's plenty of Israeli citizens who are outspoken against the war and the atrocities, and more than a few Israeli journalists and citizens who have been outspoken and even silenced by Zionist authorities within Israel. Their democracy and military has been usurped by Zionists led by that monster Netanyahu.

I do think it's important to note the difference between your average Israeli, and the Zionists scumbags currently running the country. It's not done enough in my view.

Secondly, most Israeli's are not ethnically Semites or Hebrew. Most are Slavs that have adopted Hebrew versions of their Slavic names. Claiming anti-Semitism regarding comments towards Zionists is like claiming anti-Chinese regarding comments towards a black Irish man, it makes no sense.

    Third, I don't care.

When did ant-genocide become antisemitism ? You're not really trying now.

If anyone believes that "Hitler didn't do enough," they are an abhorrent human being.

No context or qualifier changes this.

Don't see any difference to someone saying that, and the "None are innocent in Gaza /Human animals" bullsh*t- both hateful, inciting genocide rhetoric. If your against one your against them all, or your just the same.

Personally, won't bother reading the explanations in either case why that sort of rhetoric is "acceptable" to repeat.

even if they were going there to cause trouble (not the case in reality) that would be a good thing as the israely military deserve as much trouble as can be delivered.
aid and food is an issue in palestine due to the israely blockade which is designed to starve the population so as to commit a genocide.

genocidal, racist, apartheid israel is the issue here not those on the boats.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

was today about right in your view, or do more Jews need to get the message?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,478 ✭✭✭Miniegg

    Scummy post tbh.

Do you not accept that Israel undertaking genocide and telling us all that to be against it is to be against/ hateful of all Jews, is likely putting Jewish people at risk?

These warcrimes aren't being done in their name, the extremist propaganda of war criminals and a radicalized Israeli society doesn't make it representative of all Jews.

But for some reason, the twisted way this is being portrayed, those will try to put the responsibility of these deaths on people who are standing against genocide (which without exception is the right thing to do), and not on the people actually implicating all Jews in their evil mass murder.

the people implicating all Jews in mass mirder are the ones claiming that Jews in Manchester shouldn’t be allowed to go about their daily business as if nothing has happened. Basically, people like yourself who can’t understand that not all Jews are Israeli or support what Israel is doing.

I take it you condemn the attack today and recognise it for being anti semitism and actually just playing in to the hands of those who defend Israel.

Because it actually comes across like you are trying to defend someone murdering innocent people.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,478 ✭✭✭Miniegg

No it really doesn't and I think you need to re-read my post before you continue with your scummy rant, because I said completely the opposite of what you accuse me of. Rip to those people and I'm glad the killer was put down. Is that explicit enough for you?

Because it looks to me like you don't give two sh*ts about the people who have been murdered, about how Jewish people are being implicated in genocide against their name by Israeli politicians and their associated shills (Jews around the world are saying this is not being done in their name - yet people like you tell us opposition to it is antisemetic/ causes the death of Jews), and are cynically using their deaths to score cheap points or shutdown people who are opposing genocide.

Horrible events in Manchester today. And in Gaza, where scores of people have been killed over the last 24 hours.

With regards to the flotilla, the largest workers union in Italy has called for a general strike tomorrow, in response to the actions of the IDF in the early hours. They did threaten this a few weeks back, if the flotilla was interfered with. As protests go, it would be significant. And send a solid message to Governments who are doing nothing. It would be great to see unions all over Europe, with workers involved with the transport of goods and passengers to Israel get involved going forward.

Long protest in Dublin today affecting city in the afternoon and Dublin port for 3-4 hours. People are getting very angry about the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing being committed by Israel. If there was an Israeli football team playing in Ireland tonight, the match would have to be cancelled.

He said the 4.30pm Stena Line ferry left without its full complement of trucks on board as many vehicles could not get through the gridlock.

The next sailing with Irish Ferries is at 7.45pm and many trucks are expected to miss that too.

Hopefully the world is actually waking up to the Genocide and War Crimes. Would be about time. Israel is a Pariah and maybe more countries need to send their Israeli diplomats home. Ostracise the lot of them and implement the OTB here.

    That’s great.

Damage the Irish economy with pointless protests.

How would the Irish economy be damaged?

And why do you believe protests are pointless?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 478 ✭✭strawdog

Yeah but it's pretty bad protest politics isn't it? I'd say majority of people caught in the traffic today are to some degree pro Palestine, so what's the point in pissing them off? It will just distance people from those trying to further the cause. An own goal imo

Some further details on what's already been posted here as regards the protest flotilla:

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa called Israel's interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla a "grave offense" against "global solidarity and sentiment that is aimed at relieving suffering in Gaza." Ramaphosa called on Israel to immediately release South Africans, including a grandson of Nelson Mandela, Nkosi Zwelivelile Mandela, and other foreign nationals who were on the flotilla

Protests broke out in Italy following Israel's interception of the flotilla bound for Gaza. In Rome, dozens of demonstrators gathered outside the city's main train station. In Naples, several protesters blocked tracks at the main train station, forcing rail services to halt, news agency ANSA reported. Protests were also reported in Milan and Turin.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro ordered the expulsion of Israel's entire diplomatic delegation on Wednesday following the detention of two Colombians in the flotilla and terminated Colombia's free trade agreement with Israel. Petro's office said the government would pursue all legal avenues internationally and within Israel to secure the release of the detained citizens and seek reparations.

The Istanbul chief prosecutor's office said it had launched an investigation into the detention of 24 Turkish citizens on the vessels on charges including deprivation of liberty, seizure of transport vehicles and damage to property, Turkey's state-owned Anadolu news agency reported.

The legal team organized by the Adalah Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel said it had been granted access to the Ashdod Port, where the flotilla activists are held, and has begun providing legal advice.

no one is shutting down people who are speaking out against genocide. I was calling out a poster for questioning why more is t being done to bring this home to all Jewish people.

you need to read posts correctly before you start accusing people of scummy posts and jumping to completely wrong conclusions.

    Good opinion piece:

"Israelis reject Palestinian statehood and dismiss more detailed plans such as the UN-approved 'New York Declaration' in part because no one is making what seems like an obvious case.

Real leaders need to change public opinion based on convincing arguments.

Doesn't that contradict the criticism of Netanyahu earlier in this column for defying public opinion?

Not quite: Netanyahu has been doing his utmost to make his case to the public, employing his most formidable rhetorical abilities, for two full years – about total victory, about war being the responsible way to bring the hostages back, about vanquishing Hamas. Israelis haven't been convinced because they call bullshit – because reality speaks louder"

Exactly. Fn **** two friends of mine caught up in the protest described them as.

If the govt or the people of Ireland were the cause of the problem then you might see some sense in it. But a senseless act today.

More on the terrorist attack in Manchester plus a foiled plot in Germany:

Two Jews were killed and three were seriously wounded in a car-ramming and stabbing attack outside a Manchester synagogue on Yom Kippur, and officers shot and killed the suspect, British police said. The police declared the attack a terrorist incident.

According to police, the assailant drove a car into people outside the Heaton Park Synagogue in Crumpsall, and then began stabbing them. It took authorities time to confirm he was dead due to what appeared to a suicide vest he was wearing. The police later said the device worn by the man was "not viable."

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the attacker was motivated by his desire to attack Jews. "Earlier today, on Yom Kippur, the holiest day for the Jewish community, a vile individual committed a terrorist attack that attacked Jews because they are Jews, and attacked Britain because of our values," Starmer said. More police were being deployed at synagogues around the country, Starmer added.

PM Netanyahu condemned "the barbaric terror attack in Manchester" and said that "Israel grieves with the Jewish community in the U.K. As I warned at the UN: weakness in the face of terrorism only brings more terrorism."

German police arrested on Wednesday three men suspected of preparing a "serious act of violence" against Jewish targets in Germany for Hamas, prosecutors said. Prosecutors suspect the three men of being foreign operatives for Hamas and of being involved in procuring firearms and ammunition to be used for assassinations targeting Israeli or Jewish institutions in Germany, they said. Hamas denied any connection to the suspects.

Well I don't agree with the sentiments in that post - but that poster is generally fair minded, I'll let them explain themselves.

My problem is there have been probably well over a hundred posts since August where posters have been openly implicating all Jews in the Gaza genocide and they all got a pass from you.

I would say a half dozen times a day on this thread, posters call those showing opposition to what is now almost unanimously declared genocide by all relevant organisations and experts - antisemetic or Jew haters. Ergo this is being carried out in the name of Jews and for Jews (whilst ignoring all those who would be appalled by the implication).

I have pulled alot of them up on it here dozens of times - the damage they are doing to those they profess to be sticking up for, whilst throwing them all under the bus. And when innocent Jewish people do get killed by radicalised people who see them all as complicit, the same c*nts implicating them all along say the ones opposing genocide are at fault for it!!

I thought you were at that craic, apologies if I have you wrong.

Israeli politicians are killing for a radicalized population in Israel who want more land, not for the Jews. Extremists are in power, are committing genocide, are strong -arming governments into accepting it via the USA, and are throwing the Jews of the world under the bus as they do it. They smear all Jews every time they slander the UN/ Amnesty/ Medicine San Frontiers/ etc as antisemetic for telling the truth.

Imo this Israeli government are the single greatest threat to the safety of Jewish people around the world, the longer this goes on, the more danger they are in, and more of these we will see.
