They were going there to cause trouble, is all.

Well that's right out of the Hasbara playbook…

If you are ever asked to define scumbags:

The reason Palestinians are not leaving Gaza City now is the fear and intimidation created by the Israeli military’s ground offensive.

There are major parts of the city that the army is now reaching, where it is carrying out deadly attacks on the civilian population. The military is sharply ordering people to leave their homes, but at the same time targeting them with sky-predator drones and quadcopters.

Those who manage to get to al-Rashid Street and move towards central and southern Gaza face aerial surveillance and bombardment. Last night, an army helicopter flew low and fired at the road, causing mayhem and panic among displaced families.

Imagine people are fleeing for their lives and at the same time being chased by the Israeli military. It’s all part of the Israeli tactics to depopulate the area.

Look up the meaning of humanity because you haven't a clue about what it means.

And what is your point exactly?

Do you condemn or even acknowledge the genocide that Israel in committing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,148 ✭✭✭wildgreen

If that attack happened in Gaza, it would not be even mentioned in the media as its equivalent occurs multiple times every hour for the last two years. The World media can wince and lament but the citizens of the World know the truth now.

Israel play Norway in their World Cup qualifier in Oslo on October 11 before meeting Italy in Udine on October 14.

Indeed - 3 children starved to death on Tuesday and to ensure their war crimes remain hidden, the IDF executed another two journalists yesterday.

At this stage every country should just refuse to play them. FIFA and UEFA can't be trusted to take the same line as they did with Russia. They're clearly corrupted as well.

Just award Israel the trophy as we're at it. I'm surprised they haven't already claimed it anyway, you'd have thought it was probably promised to them 3000 years ago.

If there is plenty of food as you claim, the flotilla would not have sailed, with food and aid. The flotilla has also sailed to protest the genocide that us happening before our very eyes. Stop swallowing the IDF and Israeli Governments propaganda.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,196 ✭✭✭✭walshb

The quantity of food and aid is not the issue. Getting it to those who need it is the issue. And the flotillas never ever believed they would get their insanely small amount of food to anyone hungry.

I haven't heard any these flotilla saviors come out and say: "Hamas, surrender, lay down your arms, free the hostages and let the people of Palestine get well. Speak to Israel and get this sorted….."

so, not ready at all to believe these flotilla saviors are really genuine in wanting to help anyone.

What's your stance on the genocide being committed by Israel on the Palestinian people?

If there is enough food then why has it been declared that there is a man made famine in Gaza?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,196 ✭✭✭✭walshb

so you think there isn’t enough food, or there is enough food (but Israel are preventing it reaching hungry people)?

I think the latter. So my view is actually critical of Israel.

israeli genocide? I’m 50:50. Israel are fighting a hostile neighbour intent on destroying Israel. There are still dozens Israelis held hostage.

I wonder what happened the last time hamas tried to speak with Israel to "sort the war out"??

Oh yes, they were bombed in a foreign country

It's almost as if Israel do not want peace.

Imagine being told by the military force occupying your land, take the deal and we won't shoot you in the head, we'll only take your land and livelihood away from you.

How many here would take that deal??

Sadly attacks on schools and religious institutions have become normalised in the past two years. They will always be barbaric and should be condemned by any right thinking person.

Of course there isn't enough food in Gaza as you state, Israel won't allow enough in, hence it being confirmed that there is a man made famine.

You're 50/50, do you know more than the UN who have confirmed genocide?

A few people attacked in Manchester and Starmer cancels his plans in Denmark to return to the UK and chair a Cobra security meeting.

Don't remember him doing similar for countless incidents previously. Guess it matters who was involved

How are you downplaying a terrorist attack in the country he is literally the prime minister of. This site is bonkers.

@walshb - Israel suffered a terror attack. Terrorism, unfortunately, is commonplace in parts of the world where territories are occupied, where there is apartheid, systematic dispossession, and people hijacking religion into extremism for political goals. That is not a message of support, but of fact.

If Israel was in Timbuktu, there wouldn't be a Hamas from Palestine attacking them, I'd argue Hamas terrorism is far more pragmatic than "kill the Jews for Allah", although they do weaponize Islam in their beliefs (as do Israel with Judaism), like all violent groups who use religious extremism.

The figures for framing this as a war or "fighting a hostile neighbor" don't stack up. As was mentioned before, 600 Israeli soldiers have been killed since October 7th 2023, very few Israeli civilians.

More Gazan babies under the age of 1 have been killed than Israel combatants. Same for 2 year olds. Same for 3 year olds - toddlers. And on and on.

20,000 children killed Vs 600 Israeli combatants. And still the murders go on, day after day, under the guise that this is war.

98.5% of casualties in this conflict have been Gazan, 70% of them women and children. I'm not talking about intent, but if Hamas were in any way capable of fighting Israel, as you say, the figures would not be this skewed.

If there was a man lying motionless on the ground, and a gang of lads jumping on him and kicking him to death, you wouldn't call that a fight, yet you lads have the neck to call something far more brutal a fight.

This is genocide. Listen to the experts, who have the evidence, know the precedents, and are putting themselves at risk in telling us. A terrorist attack doesn't warrant the mass murder of civilians in their tens of thousands, terrorists holding hostages don't warrant it. See it for what it is.

On this site . No thread. A terrorist attack in the UK and not even a thread about it . About right for here though.

Don't worry same lad tried to tell us Gaza's populations was growing since October 7th a couple months ago if I remember right. Another a) gullible or b) lying poster.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭Rocket_GD

That's not what you said though. Why didn't you set one up for it?

Doesn't that mean that you don't care about it?

I've been fascinated for a while as to why "Hitler didn't do enough" is popular online at the moment.

But there's a reason why "Hitler didn't do enough" is a popular statement online.

The Zionists have become this century's Nazi's in their sheer cruelty and complete dehumanization of others. They see no people beyond their faith, they only see Jews, acceptable gentiles and worthless gentiles. They view the world via the notion that a Jew is a worthy human, and all else are worthless, and therefore not human.

The Zionists don't see themselves as committing war crimes, simply because war crimes are committed against humans, and they don't see anyone else as human, so anything is permissible.

It's a truly warped world view that has allowed them to become the scummy inhuman war criminals we see today.

The horrific irony of course most of them aren't even Semites, they were Slavs displaced from Eastern Europe and forced elsewhere. And now they commit every day the same atrocities that their parents and grandfathers suffered not at the hands of their Palestinians victims, but the fascist leaning ideologues that they now align themselves, the same ones who's politics in the past helped foster the environment that saw horrors committed upon them and drove them from their homes.

The evil Zionists are the depraved children of the evil fascists, and are looking to emulate their creators. And succeeding.

And when your inhuman barbarity makes people come to sympathise with Hitler's horrific world view, you know you've descended into monster territory. They just don't care.

And that's why "Hitler didn't do enough" is an acceptable view to some; because the Zionists have become the living embodiment of Hitler's policies and dehumanization and inhumanity.

And remember people used to state there was no antisemitism on this site .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭Rocket_GD

So when other people don't create a thread it's an issue but not when you do it? That makes sense.

    The hypocrisy is laughable.

The reasons for not creating one are different

    Me to avoid the cabal

The cabal probably think it's too soon to rejoice.
