I'm only asking because it's against the rules to put them on the thread.

I'm in no way criticising anyone using them. I use IPTV.

It's funny, I was just explaining to someone yesterday how a draw can happen in NFL, but that it's pretty rare.

It was a cracking game. I didn't expect the Cowboys to perform to that level. They have been awful up to now.

I thought losing Lamb would make them worse. Pickens stepped up big time. Javonte Williams was great as well.

It took right until the end of overtime for Parsons to get his sack. I'm sure he wanted that bad.

Depressing start to the season for the Ravens, for a host of reasons. Don't think they've ever made the playoffs with a 1-3 start before, so could already be over for them. If they can't muster a response against the Texans next week, they might as well throw in the towel.

A good result for the Chiefs, although I'm not sure a win against us means much this year.

Terrific game Packers Cowboys last night. After being in Croke Park, I was too tired to stay up for it but recorded it expecting to zip through it in an hour, but ended up taking the entire morning.

Liking the new O/T rules, they've really cut the coin-toss decision to close to 50/50 now. Can actually see a possibility of a team choosing neither later in the season - instead selecting direction of play if its an outdoor game in snowy/windy conditions. It might be more valuable than the (at most) marginal edge of having the ball second.

Such a slick looking play here. Not much margin for error, and if Tua doesn't pull off that flick to Washington, it looks so stupid. But it does come off, the result is beautiful.

Ugh. Pretty horrible broken leg for Tyreek Hill. Not for the squeamish.

Browns are benching Joe Flacco and moving to Dillon Gabriel as their starting QB. Shedeur Sanders expected to still remain as QB3 rather than move up.

Funnily enough, Sanders reportedly asked Ravens not to draft him because he didn't feel he'd get a chance to play over Lamar Jackson (and same with Eagles/Hurt), but if he had been drafted by them he'd possibly have been starting the next few games as Jackson is out with an injury for 2-3 weeks.

He'd still only be a full in regardless of how well he played.

If Gabriel doesn't succeed then he'll get his legitimate shot at being a starter.

    Overtime in LA.

Both QBs have been really good. If Mac Jones gets another few weeks and keeps playng like this he might get a shot as a starter with the Jets or Dolphins or somewhere.

Unbelievable, Williams had a fumble late in the 4th quarter. They go for it on 4th and 1, well in field goal range, and Williams fumbles again.

Blake Corrum fumbled early on and never seen the field again. Bad night for the Rams running backs.

Niners get the win with nearly half their starting offense missing.

If they had gone for the field goal, would the game have ended then in a tie or do they play on until the end of the 15 minutes?

Just to note, the 4th and 1 wasn't a fumble. He just got stopped short of the first down.

I know it was 4th and 1, but it was an odd decision to run it when Stafford was carving them up through the air on that drive. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I obviously got it wrong. I thought I seen a 49er come away with the ball.

The 2025 NFL season is shaping up to be really exciting, with so many competitive teams, especially in the AFC. Every week feels like it could shift the playoff picture, which makes following the games even more engaging. What I enjoy most is how quickly momentum can change, giving underdogs a real chance.

They play on but it is only 10 minutes in regular season (unlimited time in post-season).
Next score wins if game is tied after the first 2 possessions in OT.

Bryce Young is showing great heart tonight against the Dolphins. It's great to watch.

Titans got a fairly incredible win, must have been 200/1 when Cardinals RB Emari Demercado ran unchallenged to potentially make it 28-6 in the 4th quarter. But he inexplicably dropped the ball at the one yard line for a touch-back.

Later on a Cardinal defender intercepted Cam Ward in the RZ, controlled the ball, then fell and lost the ball in his own end-zone leading to a touchdown. Jets now the only winless team.

Seems there was 2 unspotted incidents of overhead zip-wires affecting the flight of the ball - in the Jets game and in London for a missed Vikings field goal. Should be a dead-ball/re-do.

Tampa/Seattle was fantastic fun on Sky.

Statement win for the Pats. Drake Maye is legit.

The Jets are 3-14 since they fired Robert Saleh.

Chiefs went 14-0 up and it looked over very early on in the second quarter but the Jags fought back to tie it at 14-14 in the third quarter. Then a pick by Devon Lloyd deep in the red zone and he takes it all the way to give the Jags a 21-14 lead.

Just now early in the fourth, the Chiefs pick off Lawrence and quickly tie it up.

Very controversial pick as it looked like blatant PI which caused the interception.

A lot of people ate going to be giving out about the tush push after tonight. Eagles 3rd and 4th and 1 to get a first down at the two and then another two, for four in a row, to get the touchdown. 😆

Giants dominate the Eagles to win by 34-17. Skateboo was ridiculous and Dart was really good too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,817 ✭✭✭✭hynesie08

Eagles are 2 dropped passes away from being 2-4 instead of 4-2 and haven't won by more than a touchdown, they'll still piss through the division but Sirianni needs to fix that defense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 37,237 ✭✭✭✭Penn

It's more than just the defense. Hurts isn't making good reads, and where last season the O-line was strong enough to give him that bit of extra time and protection, this year he's making some p*ss poor decisions and taking too long. The O-line is also a big reason why Saquon hasn't been able to make those explosive runs he did last season, because he's being wrapped up so quickly and not getting the gaps he needs.

The offensive playcalling in general is atrocious, and between losing some top players at the end of last season or through injuries, every flaw is being massively exposed.

I must admit that 4 tush pushes in a row annoyed me last night. It's just not nice.

Its a tough watch, like peak-Schmidt ball for Ireland. Not a likeable side.

Delighted they've lost two in a row now
