Up In 3 and the other is tied.

    Great position.

Why am I getting the urge to want to slap Thomas?.

Looks like an unlikeable fella today.

Sitting in a neutral nation watching this, I get pissed off at the NY crowd, taking over our game and turning into this freak show. I realize there is going to be a certain amount of this at any international golf, but really this has gone way past any reasonable limits and just spoils the quality of the golf being played. Also it is counter-productive because I don't imagine most of the U.S. players are thrilled by some of the abusive stuff. And cheering bad shots or bad bounces is not really that great a thing in our game. I have to imagine some of these bozos do not play golf at all, and are transplanted football or baseball fans (to use a term loosely). Anyway, I hope they boot more of them off the property but it seems to be borderline out of control at this point. All it tells me is, some American fans are so worried about losing they think the only way to avoid it is to make it impossible for the opponents to play, which does not appear to be working. And I'm sure 99% of the people in attendance are not trying to cross lines either, but that doesn't really change the bad stink coming from these galleries.

Rory should yell back, "hey at least I can putt and women like me." That's probably the problem right there.

So I'm hoping the Irish fans will make the next Ryder Cup a class event and restore the balance a little. I would say the U.S. venue next time should have some realistic crowd control strategies that involve not just expulsion but some penalties that will deter this sort of stuff. It wasn't much better some other recent Ryder Cups. I'm not one of those big-time p.c. people either, just our game does not need this sort of fan behaviour and if this is the biggest stage for golf, then the sport needs to establish that, let them take that stuff somewhere else.

That was the equivalent of doing ten cartwheels after scoring a goal with your team 5-0 down

Scottie letting it rip when he sunk that - can't blame him after losing so many points so far.

Been one of the good guys, quieting the crowd a number of times.

The scoring in the Rose match is nuts, 11 under between the 4 players for betterball.

Didn't see him do that, but not focused on it 100%.

I did see him winding the crowd up earlier though.

He did it on several holes when Europe were putting and riled the crowd up when USA hit a good shot.

Just Today ???? Always acts like a college jock and badly needs a slap.

Rory was putting and he turned around to the crowd and made shushing gestures. Another hole he did the same.

Mad how quickly this might change. Feel game one could set the tone and both Europeans do seem to be struggling to find the form they showed early on.

Europe only 1 up in each of the matches they lead, could all change, change horribly

Rory's head gone - but don't blame him - shouting **** about his wife etc.

Are the lads who have played 4 running out of a tad bit of steam ?

Think both their heads are gone , Lowry finding it hard to get going

Some clown called rose grandpa and then he knocked his ball inside fleetwood.

Rory basically playing on his own here.

Lowry has been so poor in Ryder cups

Lowry’s approach play has been poor.. Rosey and Tommy though!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,555 ✭✭✭spakman

McIlroy will turn it around. Not so sure about Lowry, seems to be getting frustrated.

I'd imagine - Donald had them all - don't rise to crowd , particularly Rory and Shane - but they eventually cracked
