Between that and the roundabouts with pedestrian ramps near roundabouts 🙈

No wonder we have constant headaches! The bottom of the link road is absolutely ridiculous and downright dangerous 🤬

I bought a pair of runners in size 8 and I found them to big.

I'd almost be falling out of them.

I then got 7.5 and I thought it was just right.

However If I wear them for any length of time they become uncomfortable.

We recently got new ramps at the exits if our main roundabout.

Yes, 4 zebra crossings, 1 on each exit out of the roundabout.

So you enter the roundabout as usual, but now often have to stop to let people across, which causes a tail back behind you and completely ruins the idea of how a roundabout works, as cars end up blocking any new cars entering from other roads

When you meet an acquaintance who haven't seen in ages and you think you remember their first name but not entirely sure and don't want to use it in case you get it wrong and look like a tit.

You must be a foreigner like me? I thought all Irishman could remember the names of everyone they every met and all their relatives out to at least second cousins? Seems that way in our village?

Wake me up when it's all over.

My old boss was a divil for knowing three quarters of Ireland and at least a neighbour or a relative of the remaining quarter. I could never figure out how she did it. I think the secret services missed out in not recruiting her.

Happens me the odd time as well you’re like 70% sure of the name but the fear of getting it wrong keeps you quiet. Awkward as hell.

sometimes I put stuff off. I took a look at my bedside locker and realised it was 5 drawers of 80% crap…old phones, old phone & old device chargers, birthday cards, playing cards, guitar accessories - strings, picks, capos…. Wires and all sorts of stuff…Nice looking locker, gotta acquire the inclination, clear it, again, maybe tonight….hmmm

My back which I have constant problems with was feeling fine this morning. Just read a letter from the Doctor with my recent MRI scan results, lots of words like degenerative, retrolisthesis, hypertrophy, paracentral etc - all sound bad.

    Now I have back ache.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Tomatoes in toasted sandwiches. They just cause all the other ingredients to slither out. Not to mention the burn potential.

I've been fine since I saw the doctor about 3 months ago. It was just reading the report that started me off.

Nothing I didn't expect as back problems are a family thing. I found a few ways to alleviate the pain when it occurs including heat and a tens machine.,

I tried to do a search on the website of a popular electrical supplier. The search was for "ironing press". Why on earth would you show me gas hobs, especially after I selected "laundry and ironing"? FFS, stupid AI…

FYI - Kilkenny / Waterford bus leave the airport at 2am if you could get someone to collect you in KK or Waterford, might save on taxi.
