HKC - replacing battery, do I need an engineer code?

    As per title, do I need an engineer code to replace the battery in a HKC Secure watch system?

    I appreciate it's an older system, and well ultimately be replaced, but the budget is tight at the moment and a 20 euro battery from RS Radionics will do for a good while.
