Long shot but does anyone have a spare physical ticket from the gig they'd be willing to part with. Like many here probably have, I've all mine framed.

I know majority of tickets will have been etickets but willing to throw you a few bob if you do.

If you don't ask you won't know 🙏

Could you get a physical ticket?

alot of last minute production holds are physical or one's reserved for sponsors in croke park. .....I think anyway

Was lucky enough to get a ticket for Wembley later this month. I’m not too familiar with London or the transport system. Anyone who went previously know how long it takes to get to the Tube at Wembley Park? As far as I know services finish around midnight on Sundays and I don’t particularly want to leave early to beat the rush.
Also have an early flight back from Luton, would staying around West Hampstead be advisable?

I went to it in Jersey, yes amazing. I can't compare it to Dublin because I didn't go. Tickets only 100 dollars but as you can see I was in the 3rd tier.

I got my physical souvenir tickets a couple of days ago. Did anyone take that option when buying online?

Tube is brilliant in fairness, if ony we had something even close to it here in Dublin, but the last tube is generally around 00:30. I have never actually been to a concert in Wembley, but I can't imagine either way that they would close the tube stations with 80,000 people milling around, so you should be safe enough getting out of Wembley, however there are plenty on here who went to see Oasis in Wembley, so they can advise you a lot better than me. I presume you are getting the Thameslink line to Luton, so yes staying around West Hampstead would be perfect considering Thameslink trains stop there on the way to Luton, Cricklewood or Kentish Town are also stops on the way, so you could look there for somewhere to stay in either of those areas

Also look for Premier Inn Hotels to stay in, cheap and cheerful. One last thing, trains in the UK are very expensive since privatisation, so book your trains in advance before going over. Tube is fine, you just tap on and off using your debit card, and the maximum amount you can be charged is capped no matter how many times you use the tube

Probably 15 minute walk to Wembley Park. There will be a big queue but it isn't their first rodeo and you'll find it will be very organised and will move quickly. They will surely have extra tube services on to get the crowd out of there.

How are you getting to Luton? If train, I THINK there is a direct train from West Hampstead to Luton Airport Parkway.

I was at Coldplay on Wednesday night, my third major event at Wembley, and it’s a pain in the arse to get back from. My advice is to walk to a station that doesn’t have Wembley in its name (Wembley Park, Wembley Central etc.), otherwise you will be queuing with thousands of people if you don’t leave early. And they don’t put on extra services.

Your best bet imo is to just get to the centre of London via a smaller station. We walked 30 minutes to Stonebridge Park (Bakerloo Line) and got on the first train that pulled up with others who’d done the same thing. I’d rather the stroll than the cattle mart. From there, we got off at Baker Street and changed to the Jubilee Line for our hotel.

Codes are no used to you folks, they are validated against an e-mail address.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 964 ✭✭✭FazyLucker

Just to elaborate on the above, you need somebody with the code to buy you tickets and transfer them to you. That is your only chance really.

I didn't get any code for Wembley.

Just got a random DM on Reddit from someone who saw a post of mine from weeks ago looking for Wembley ticket(s)... I'd always assume scam but this had a TM link attached

    Clicked through...

One face value seated ticket for Saturday 27th secured!

Now to figure out the logistics and if flights/hotels are doable , and get the wifes approval.

Feeling very conflicted about going all the way over for seated tbh, will have no probs selling it on if not I suppose.

    Wish me luck 🤣

Go for it. Lots of flight options with all the airports that serve London. Getting affordable accommodation could be trickier, but again will be doable. Good luck with the wife. Promise her that she can do something special to her.

You can get another wife, you can't get another Oasis reunion tour.

    Go for it!

I was seating in Croke Park and can say that if its a lower tier ticket everybody will be standing anyway. It made no difference.

You can sell it to the wife on the basis that its a once in a lifetime opportunity and the last chance to see them on this tour. Tell her Fazy said he hopes to tell his grandkids about the weekend Oasis came to town.

London is a big city, get a red eye flight over and another back, sleep in the airport if needed. Otherwise, its a big city with lots of Airbnb's available on the cheap.

Best of luck, let us know how you get on (with the wife first and then the concert!!)

Had a couple of mates head to Wembley earlier in the summer. Plenty of reasonable accommodation options. London is so big, its capable of handling large numbers for multiple events at a time without causing too much of a spike on hotel prices.

Was at Wembley for Taylor Hawkins concert a couple of years ago. Think I stayed near Paddington Station. Got the Bakerloo line to Wembley and also a direct train from Heathrow to Paddington. As said, SO many accommodation options in London.

Looks like the second day based on what they’re wearing. Now to try find myself, we were set up close to where the camera started. Great footage.

Can myself right in front of the camera there. Cool video

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 964 ✭✭✭FazyLucker

Great video but if that's a big camera on the end of a selfie stick its a pain in the hoop to be behind him!

    That’s a smashing video.
