    Hi all,

No AC in my car, have a fault for g395 pressure sensor, had this issue persist after trying a genuine Audi AC pressure sensor and an aftermarket one ?

Been advised could be a break in the wiring.

Any recommendations for who to go to?
I'm in Waterford but willing to travel.

    Thanks to all

Did you regass it? The fault usually means the pressure is below the safe threshold

If willing to travel to Dublin then I'd recommend Auto Aircon out in Parkwest

Had a leak on the AC in my VW a couple of years ago. The VW garage couldn't see me for 2 months so I gave these guys a call

They said call over whenever, I brought the car in the next day. They found the leak, fixed and regassed in about an hour

Very professional and they have all the gear for working on cars. Not cheap I'll admit, cost around €250 overall but still worth it in my reckoning

I know it's a hike from Waterford, but definitely worth calling them up and asking, they might be able to diagnose over the phone so you just drop in for a fix somewhere

I will reach out to that garage just concerned they won’t want to touch the wiring aspect if that’s the cause

It would need to be regassed after changing the sensor though, you can jump the two pins on the plug going to the sensor to test the wiring

I had the same issue with my A6 a few months ago and brought it to a garage in Dublin, found a break in a wire somewhere and replaced the sensor again. Cost me 650 with 2 regases. But the A/C isn't working again now but isn't throwing any codes.

I'm now down in Waterford and need to find somewhere to dig into the electrics.

wow ok, that is worrying. Very frustrating as I’ve asked a few local electricians already and they won’t touch anything got to do with hvac system.

I concur, the owner is a very nice guy. He and his employees know their stuff. I reckon they're the best in Dublin for AC systems. I don't usually like Harley-Davidsons but he owns a stunning example and had it on show the last time I was in his workshop. He also owns nice cars.
