Oh I am sure they could hustle up some photoshop ect at sometime! But they don’t care anymore what we think or what anyone else in the world thinks either. This is what will destroy them in the end, their complete lack of awareness of the genocide they are committing.

I think you mis-spelled "innovative" country.

In world 1st bid to cure paralysis, Israeli team gears up to implant innovative spinal cord | The Times of Israel

No evidence they are planning any expansion of their nuclear arsenal.

Iran has pledged unconditionally to destroy Israel. "Death to Israel" is basically their national motto. Syria has long been a conduit for weapons from Iran to Hezbollah and under the new government, attacks on Druze people have been commonplace. Lebanese militants attacked Israel continuously starting on the 8th of October 2023 and Yemen has been attacking Israel directly as well as civilian shipping in the Red Sea. Hamas have not surrendered and they still hold hostages.

By all means, criticise Israel where there are grounds to do so, but you shouldn't need to make stuff up.

A glimmer of hope is that there is a lot of revulsion on social media, even from Israelis posting in Hebrew on social media - saying the scenes of residential buildings being blown up like this are sickening.

But but but…Israel neither confirms or denies whether they have nukes! So who would believe them?

This is a thread about Israel, not Iran…and on topic who needs to make “****” up about Israel? They are wiping out Gaza and annihilating the West Bank as we speak.

    Begone ya shyster…

Day 700 of the Gaza Genocide.

Alleged War Criminal #1 (at large) has been at pains to tell hostage families that a priority of the war in Gaza is to return the hostages. Really? Even the IDF admit that their current ramping up of cleansing and demolishing Gaza City will harm the hostages.

IDF liaison officers told hostage families on Friday that the military lacks precise intelligence on the hostages' locations and that the escalating military activity in Gaza City could harm the hostages or prevent the retrieval of bodies.

Israelis can see the writing in the wall - and it's not pretty.

"Netanyahu's warnings of another October 7-style attack from Gaza simply don't reflect the current threat emanating from the Strip.

Such an onslaught could occur in the future, of course, if the government pursues the same policy of willful blindness and hubris that it followed before the massacre.

The pain, damage and shock of October 7 have largely shaped Israel's actions since that day.

Yet it's impossible not to wonder how Israel has turned Gaza into its premier strategic problem, triggering powerful shockwaves – from growing international boycotts to a significant erosion of bipartisan support in the United States"

    Starvation tactics going swimmingly.

    • Some 10 percent of the 58,617 children examined in the first half of August were suffering from acute or severe malnutrition– the highest rate recorded since the war began, the UN said.
    • The UN children's organization UNICEF warned that "childhood cannot survive" the famine in a war zone in Gaza City, with UNICEF spokeswoman Tess Ingram saying the "unthinkable is not looming – it is already here. … Malnutrition and famine are weakening children's bodies as displacement strips them of shelter and care, and bombardments threaten their every move."

The four month old toddler was preventing Settlers taking their birthright apparently. And deserved to be punished…

    Seems the IDF/Police saw nothing.

Around 30 settlers attacked the Palestinian village of Khallet all-Daba, south of Hebron, on Thursday night, local activists in the southern West Bank said. Medics said three Palestinians were wounded, while residents said at least nine people were hurt.

    • IDF troops were sent to the scene after the attack. A military source said the incident was handled by the police and the IDF, but no arrests were reported.
    • The Red Crescent said the three people who required treatment were aged 84, 64 and 13. Locals said attackers hit an elderly couple in the head and pepper-sprayed a four-month-old toddler.

Mark Smith who resigned from the UK Foreign Office reveals the pressure put on him to downplay UK knowledge of the genocide.

“I was routinely asked to go to senior directors’ offices and told to, quote, ‘make the situation look less bad,” said Smith, who was a diplomat and policy adviser at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. “Sections that I’ve written which talked about civilian casualties, for example, I was asked to kind of play them down, make them smaller.”

He described the office’s working culture as “very strange” and “different to anything I’ve ever experienced in the civil service”.

“Everyone wanted to make it look as though we were on the right side of the law, and any kind of suggestion [otherwise] tended to be met with panic and a kind of extreme pressure, to not talk about that.”

He said it is “fully understood in the department” that conversations about the UK’s conduct and relationship with Israel should take place “in person and not in writing”.

I can't remember where I read it, I think it was on the BBC's site, but at one point civil servants there were concerned they would be indicted if charges of crimes against humanity were brought because the 'we were just doing our jobs' line isn't a defense when they know what's going on. It was in the context of them supplying weapons to Israel if I remember correctly. Not excusing the behaviour but it could explain it in part.

If you actually bothered to read my post I was discussing the use of the word "proxy" for every single group that is or is not aligned with Irans policies.

The houthis have never been considered a proxy of Iran. - they have been considered an ally however.

Hamas arent actually considered a proxy either depending on who you ask. Hamas are the elected government of Gaza.

True that some of these are funded and armed by Iran but in the same vein Israel is funded and armed by the USA.

Theres plenty of articles / books out there that will explain why the West uses the word "proxy" for Iran backed groups but not Israel and the US.

If you actually bothered to read my post

@SeanW will read only to the point where he reads a piece he thinks he can counter. Anything beyond that point is simply ignored and not even read.

The stock reply to any criticism is deny, deflect, obfuscate, lie.

The post I quoted did not say anything about proxies …

Two US Army veterans Josephine Guilbeau and Anthony Aguilar being arrested on Sept 4, 2025, for disrupting a Senate hearing to protest US complicity in Gaza genocide.

Finally, some actual courage from uniformed men and women in the United States.

The soldiers and officers who obey 'legal orders' to assist in genocide or a fascist takeover of their home country vs the few who demonstrate the actual meaning of that uniform.

The US has always claimed to stand for freedom, democracy and opposition to fascism. They like to believe that they are the good guys. But the good guys don't support genocide.

The good guys fight fascism and oppose genocide.

Welcome back Sean, why did you not address Grayson's post to you . It almost seems as if you avoid answering certain posts for some reason but maybe it's that you are just too busy to read through ever post.

By the way that is a very interesting article you linked to but what exactly is the relevance to the topic at hand? Is your point that if a country's scientists do important work that can benefit humanity we should then give that country's leadership a free pass on committing war crimes ? With this in mind maybe you will give the Iranian Government a free pass considering how highly regarded their scientists are in some fields, like medical science, nanotechnology and Chemistry.

Looks like pushback from the international community also as the UN supposedly will change the venue of the opening day of the general assembly so the Palestinian leaders can attend. Hopefully it is true.

Great post. You will notice that none of those posters come back and admit they got it wrong. No apologies either. Not one. It's an anonymous forum so I find that very weird. It shows a fundamental lack of character or they really hate muslims. Possibly both.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

The IDF is to set up a hospital in Khan younis for the Palestinians-

Given the amount of hospitals the IDF bomb that sounds like a death trap-

    Yes-

But the IDF will call them hospitals / first aid camps and deny they are the nazi comeback-

Much of the media will lick it up-

Irish Times Article on Irish boycotts of Israel.

Turns out Teva Pharmaceuticals, an Israeli company, is a major supplier of generic medicine to the HSE. Troubling.

Also last year, Irish imports from Israel reached €3.8 bn.

On a positive side (I support boycotts by the way), Elbit Systems (Israel's largest arms producer)'s factory in Bristol, UK, has shut following dozens of protests by Palestine supporters.

Israel Premier Tech cycling team changes their name. Hopefully the protesters will accept this and settle for waving their flags without engendering the safety of the athletes. They have won a major victory.

I doubt savvy fans would see that as a victory.

    "we removed a badge"

"Oh great, that's that sorted then"

Bit like the IDF saying they stopped writing those disgusting messages on their bombs.
