it didn’t ruin it. It was great. It would have been marginally better in darkness sure but it was a better of a sunny day.

Any bootlegs from 16th Aug Dublin show ?

They put on an incredible spectacle to be fair, the topic was covering this (whether or not it's someone's cup of tea is irrelevant).

The problem with an end of September gig is the risk of swapping brightness for pouring rain.

The Oasis gigs were epic as much because of the weather and the cracking days that both gigs were, which helped the mood of the crowd no end. If it was raining in late September, it might be a bit less atmospheric.

Are the gigs in the US all sold out just like the ones here were?

I mean, if Oasis are playing sold out stadiums, wouldn't that mean they in fact DID "break" America in the end?

Yep, and playing some enormous stadiums too. I was at the Rose Bowl in LA years ago and it's incredible.

A resale (face value) standing ticket for Chicago tonight will set you back a mere $756.

Sidebar: I still think the biggest gamble with the weather was having to put The Police in Croke Park in October.

But it was a good day, so it worked out fine.

There certainly wouldn't be anywhere near the same fanaticism for them in the States that there would be in the UK or Ireland. Their don't give a f**k attitude in their younger days, and the fact that they were not on their knees begging America to love them did not sit well with the Yanks who love a bit of the old fakeness. As Noel once famously said, " Oasis never became as popular in the US as they were in the UK because America “couldn’t handle” that “we didn’t give a f**k about anything”. I doubt they still give a monkeys as to whether America loves them or not, they're selling out major stadiums and that's all that matters.

Chicago crowd getting a bit short changed production wise

I wonder why there has not been any song released from the Dublin gigs, but 2 from Edinburgh.

Had they been planning to release Bring It On Down from Dublin, but the recording wasn't good enough? Who knows?

What’s the second one from Edinburgh that’s not Bring It On Down?

Hopefully they are planning on a full concert release from Dublin 🤞

Oh yeah. Got mixed up, and forgot about Manchester. Had Cigarettes & Alcohol from London, and Little By Little from Edinburgh

Yes looks like they brought Springsteens cow shed to the US

The screen might not fit in there, its 60m wide.

Usually takes about 2 weeks after the gig itself so any day now I reckon for a Dublin official release. I'd say it'll be Wonderwall or Don't Look Back in Anger

Wonderwall from the 16th is the live release for Dublin if this is legit.

Fair play to Oasis. Nice touch.

Feel a person who actually paid for a ticket should be rewarded and not those who heard for free imo but look it is what it is and lets enjoy something that will out live us all

You don't go to gigs in the hopes that you'll be captured for posterity in an image from the band's photographers. The people who paid for a ticket were "rewarded" by the small matter of being inside the stadium. This is a superb picture that manages to encapsulate the joy, camaraderie and excitement of that whole weekend. It's an excellent choice.

That's a very strange comment. In any event, it is a superb photo, there's so much life in it - the 2 girls on the barrier, the look between the couple on the right - far more interesting and captivating than the usual fans-at-gig photos. And it is very, very Dublin.

Couldn't care if it was a photo of a slapped arse, it's not available in a physical format (the recording, not the slapped arse) so what does it matter when listening on Spotify? That said, I think it's a great photo and captures the buzz around the gigs.

Given the choice, I probably wouldn't have picked Wonderwall as the song to be released from the Dublin gig. Still though, having listened to it a couple of times, it's very enjoyable - Particularly Liam's intro and outtro.

I got it wrong (like a lot of things)

Guessing 'Half The World Away' will be one of the US shows or maybe the Aussie ones

Second this. Listening back gave me a tingle up my spine

I suppose those of us who were lucky enough to be there on Saturday should feel smug that our night was chosen for the release?

Tongue firmly in cheek, I don't give a … just like I don't about the photo on the release.

I think the video they released from outside a few weeks ago is something special, it encapsulates how much joy they brought to the city for that weekend, tickets or not. People out, having a good time, enjoying singing together. The whole weekend was the highlight of the sadly fast fading Summer. I hope to someday tell my grandkids about it.

It was great to hear any song from it again. The crowd reaction at the stateside concerts is so different, its clear they were never embraced like they were here.

    New Jersey looked good.

But then again, the Irish in New York would probably be the majority who went
