    This is what was claimed

seen you describe anyone who disagrees with you as being an NGO agent or a bad actor.

    This is what was posted

You have a small minority of NGO based operatives and bad faith actors on one side and a few far right agitators on the other side

It doesn’t need a Presidential announcement, but it’s a handy soft-ball issue they can have Donnie announce to prove to everyone that he’s perfectly fine….

…will be interesting to see if that idea backfires spectacularly.

It doesn't. The dude just really, really enjoys annoucements and acting like a king.

It required an announcement because it was a way to put Trump in front of the cameras for a few minutes given the rumours about his health, by doing something official but incredibly low-effort, no press conference, get in and out.

And seemingly, he now won't even be making this announcement himself.

Edit: Rumours he wouldnt be making the announcement were wrong, he's there.

An awful lot of company for such a simple announcement.

Read my post again, I wasn't quoting ancapailldorcha.

    Edit; just to clarify, I was referring to Eightieschewbaccy asking;

'So you don't believe NGO operatives have infiltrated the thread?'

    To which I said

    'yes he does'

And quoted him saying just that.

Jesus he looks terrible, he looks exhausted, like he can barely stand. So frail and bored/confused. Was he just dragged out of bed ? Something is up with him…..

Show me where I specifically mention this thread, the post I made was primarily in relation to the Immigration thread.

Its clear certain posters are so desperate that they have to stoop so low as to twist everything I say.

You still think there are NGO operatives conspiring on boards. Doesn't really matter what thread it's posted on, it's what you believe and you're not denying it. And it's the crux of the conversation about it over the last few pages.

Anyway I will leave it there, apologies for going off topic.

he looks better when talking, when he was just standing, swaying, I thought he was half way dead.

Doocy: “There's a video that is circulating…where a window is open to the residence upstairs, and somebody is throwing a big bag out the window. Have you seen this?”

Trump: “No, that's probably A.I…You can't open the windows because they are all heavily armored and bulletproof.”

    Sure Jan....

Given that that is Doocy asking the question, should I be surprised that Trump knows that the said window is NOT a sashed window a but an Armoured Plate Glass fully secured window?

Whatever about space command , over at NASA the beatings will continue until morale improves despite shedding thousands of jobs.

    How things were https://www.nasa.gov/careers/nasa-unions-bargaining-units/

    How things are https://www.space.com/space-exploration/nasa-employees-fear-worsening-conditions-as-new-trump-executive-order-eliminates-their-right-to-unionize

There are places in the US where Amazon can no longer hire workers because they've burnt through everyone who thought they could put up with their crap for minimal wage. For highly educated rocket engineers it's a similar situation at Space-X except it's the whole country they've gone through. Before the rift I could have imagined the idea of firing NASA employees would help Musk get cheaper engineers.

From The Independent: Last week, the Justice Department’s Executive Office for Immigration Review gave itself permission to hire “any attorney” to serve as temporary immigration judges, even if they don’t have any experience in that area of the law.

Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has now approved sending up to 600 military lawyers to the Justice Department to fill the bench in immigration courts across the country, according to a recent memo. The Pentagon will deploy groups of 150 military attorneys “as soon as practicable,” according to the memo, which is dated August 27. The Pentagon is “identifying qualified” military and civilian attorneys to “augment existing resources to help further combat a backlog of cases by presiding over immigration hearings,” chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement to The Independent. “The Department remains committed to continuing our support for our interagency partners, bringing the skill and dedication of America’s service members and civil servants to deliver justice, restore order, and protect the American people,” he added. “Beyond this, we don’t have any additional details to provide at this time,” he said.

The Justice Department referred The Independent’s request for comment to the Pentagon. Immigration courts are grappling with a massive backlog of more than 3.7 million cases in immigration courts which hold hearings on asylum claims and whether immigrants can be swiftly deported. But more than 100 immigration judges have been fired or forced out of the role since Trump took office. Unlike federal courts, immigration courts and the judges who run them operate under the Justice Department and at the direction of the office of the attorney general (see points to note below).

Under new guidance released last week, Attorney General Pam Bondi can install “any attorney” to serve as an immigration judge for terms lasting up to six months — at which point their term can be renewed, sparking fears that the Trump administration is escalating an anti-immigration agenda by employing inexperienced loyalists to decide the fates of tens of thousands of people.

After Trump took office, the Justice Department’s Executive Office for Immigration Review told judges to grant motions from government lawyers to immediately dismiss immigrants’ cases, making them easy targets for arrest and removal. That strategy has generated scenes of masked federal agents patrolling courthouse hallways and hauling away immigrants the moment they leave hearings. More than 60,000 people are currently in immigration detention centres across the country.

Point to note: Immigration Courts are Civil Administrative Courts within the U.S DOJ and not Federal Criminal Justice Courts.

The remarkable scenes of immigrants being grabbed by I.C.E agents within Court buildings caught on camera and posted on media sites may become a thing of the past if the new joint DOJ/DOD plan from the Trump Admin gets up and running fully.

Michelle Obama complained about not being able to open windows for fresh air also. What were people saying/speculating the bags were anyway? I didn't see any of the videos.

No one has been pronounced more clinically dead than me. I'm the most dead that anyone has ever been. The doctors said they've never seen anyone quite so dead.

Funny peculiar is that Doocy gave the story legs by asking Trump about it. If Doocy hadn't/hasn't seen the video, or even a photo-still, of the bag through the window video and had no reason to have an interest in it, WTF did he ask Trump about a non-story? We know Doocy is a stool for the Admin but an idiot?

"The United States conducted a deadly military strike against an alleged drug boat tied to the cartel Tren de Aragua, President Donald Trump said Tuesday.

The US president said 11 people were killed in the strike in “international waters.” Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the “lethal strike” as taking place in the “southern Caribbean” against “a drug vessel which had departed from Venezuela.”

The use of military force against Latin American drug cartels represents a significant escalation by the Trump administration and could have serious implicatons for the region."

What’s ironic though, pretty soon we’’ll get a press release saying he is the healthiest he has ever been, maybe the healthiest president ever.

Despite the fact he looks like a wilting mushroom.

I have to say, I would be would be more comfortable with this incident if reporting indicated whether they were given an option to surrender or abandon before lethal force was used.

The detail in most of the newspaper reports seems to come from a post by Trump to Truth Social. If the vessel was challenged before being attacked, that's not a detail Trump would be likely to include, because he likes to associate himself with, and to legitimate, the unconstrained and arbitrary use of force. So he would like to give the impression that this was simply a surprise attack, even if it wasn't.

Some reports say that the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, when asked about the legal basis for the attack, replied “I’m not going to answer for the White House counsel, suffice it to say that all of those steps were taken in advance.” That does suggest that Rubio believes that legal advisors signed off on the operation in advance.

My guess is that the operation was conducted in a lawful way, but Trump would like to give the impression that it wasn't.

That doesn't sit right with me.

Trump also has ordered his forces, police and army to act illegally. That's the way he wants them to act.

Frankly, he has not earned the right to have his actions assumed to be in accordance with the law.

In fact, it's quite the opposite.
