From what I have seen of the average MAGA supporter I would be surprised if many of them are not already on medication and will be the first to feel it in their pockets.

As the Yanks are fond of saying "When money talks, bullshlt walks"

Syphilis is very easily cured. It's extremely unlikely that anyone living in a developed country would ever get to the stage of it killing them without being diagnosed and treated. He's old, old people get swollen ankles and bruise easily, especially when they're on different medications. I think it probably is something more serious though, but I doubt its an untreated std from 40 years ago lol, that just pure fan fic

It hasn't been a good day for the Trump administration and those he likes.

The Fed commissioner he "Fired" fires back "I'm not resigning, I'm staying", her lawyer starts legal action against Trump.

Federal Court kicks out DOJ case which accused 13 Federal Court judges in one state of overstepping their legal powers in immigration cases.

Federal Court kicks out appeal by Proud Boys against the DOJ "Capitol Riot" case charges it brought against them.

Federal Judge puts block on any DOJ moves to migrate man from U.S to Uganda pending a hearing of the request from the man and his lawyer.

Then there's the small matter of Maxwell and the man from Trump's past who just won't fade away. The committee is issuing subpoenas for Chairman Comer, something to do with what he thinks was possible mismanagement of the investigation into them.

I know, I know, this is something I generated using AI chat, but I thought it was funny given the feeble limits ChatGPT seems to have.

After a bit of to and fro I suggested "Create an image of a caricature of someone who resembles the current president of the united states, with swollen ankles, in the style of picasso." Viola.

He would duck them or give an answer to something else and the journo would find his Press pass and access removed, possibly endangering his employment.

Saw a tweet pointing out how the bruise on his hand is taking much longer to heal than the ear that was hit with a bullet.

Have you watched Kyle Kulinsky ? My favourite Youtube political channel. I like his take on most things and he's pretty funny. Also like Sam Seder on the Majority Report.

On the deal-making front, Reuters is reporting that while the U.S, like other western countries, has sanctions officially in operation against Russia (including the export of its oil), the Trump administration has been in talks with Russia about it in what seems to be a secret deal-making attempt outside one which would be of benefit to peace in Ukraine.

Trump himself, over the past two days, has made contrary statements on how the U.S, by way of his administration, will handle the sanctions against Russia. Last night, Trump said the U.S would not be involved in a military war with Russia but would in a sanctions war with Russia and would increase the current level to an even stronger level to make Russia end it's war on Ukraine.

As both are contrary in nature, it seems that Trump is acting the b***ocks as usual with Ukraine and the countries applying sanctions against Russia. Nothing changes there, except for finding out whom Trump is using as a go-between or agent. he does have one person directly involved in talks (besides himself) with Putin at home in Moscow.

In fairness to Trump, he didn't have a red carpet to follow. That was reserved for Putin

You're absolutely right. Absolutely zero self respect and I really don't know how they can look their kids in the eye behaving like this..

What should also not be lost in this, is the truly pathetic nature of the man sitting there, at the centre of it all, craving this public adoration.

He desperately wants a Nobel prize. He wants states to say "thank you" when government money is sent to them. He has to known as "the best", or that he fixed something no one else can, or that he a master negotiator.

If it can't be done, it's someone else's fault.

If a problem was fixed despite it being nothing to do with him, he fixed it!

Criticism in any way, shape or form is not tolerated. Such people are nasty, or low IQ, or don't know what they are talking about.

Only utter worship and debasement is acceptable .

He is without a doubt, one of the most fragile and pathetic examples of a man I have ever seen.

That's not some throw away insult. It's what I truly believe.

It would be tragic if not for the position he holds and the implications for the rest of us.

Just like every other bully that existed, and like the dictators he aspires to be, he is the walking embodiment of toxic insecurity. My only comfort is that despite the immense wealth and power he holds, after climbing all over others and destroying lives to get where he wants to be, he is so desperately alone and utterly miserable.

It struck me this morning, Trump is so bad, so dictatorial, so persistent in his claims from his perspective that he's almost not worth discussing any more from a conventional angle.

The Democrats and the institutions have been devoid of meaningful ways to challenge him and that fact is interesting in itself but it's like everyone is waiting just for nature or time to remove him from influence.

That's very troubling, don't get me wrong, but there is such a void of meaningful counteractions to him that he has created a void in which his is the only voice that is being heard.

I don't think this is skilful by him but rather a consequence of his belligerence and the absence of a strong defender of what were norms in this space. Gavin Newsome is trying but has resorted to Trump speak to do so and that strategy has a limited shelf life.

maybe the idea / thinking from a Demo POV is :-

    (1) that Trump , by his obvious , away out, whacky, unbelievable , off the richter, out on a limb, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc behaviour that he is doing the Democrats job for them

    (2) if the Demos start to oppose Trump now by the time the mid terms come around the Demos will have been ‘singing. ‘ for too long and could ‘ p—s off’ the electorate by they having to listen to the ‘same old tune’ . So the Demos might wait to have a go at having a short and sharp campaign before the next election.
    (3) it can chip away at what is going on with bits of interjections eg Bernie Sander’s efforts, Garry Newsoms comments, some debates now and again in the House and Senate, , A O Cortez performances. These actions keep the Demo Party ticking over - that it has not gone away- until the short and sharp campeign

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

Definitely short to medium term pain for India ahead with the 50% tariffs kicking in today

However, no one is looking at the long term impact - what America “wins” today, it will surely lose long term - a world pivot away from America due to lack of trust and instability of markets Shirley can’t be a good thing? But it’s clear, Trump wants India’s economy to tank , enabling other economies to profit

“I don’t care what India does with Russia,” Trump claimed on Truth Social, his social network, last month. “They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care.”

It’s hard to feel sorry for India, they were **** about screwing us in Europe while sneering at us, f em

It’s worse that tarrifs, the meme in financial markets at start of this year was that India will be the next China and will see similar meteoric rise by manufacturing moving to India from China

This is dead now, all because some greedy c**ts in corrupt Indian government and business circles were addicted to Russian blood oil and put short term gains above their long term prospect for their country

So once again, f em, here’s the worlds smallest violin, and this is coming from someone who hates Trumpism with a burning passion

I am already at the point where I have written off any Trump supporter (and also any "I'm not a Trump supporter, but!" posters) and have decided that the world is doomed because hateful morons are so numerous now that they can do serious damage to the world.
Should Trump get a Nobel price, I will decide that humanity isn't worth it, we are beyond saving and that everything and everyone (except for very few people) is fair game. Everyone is already out for themselves and fcuk everything else, so if you don't live the same way, you are losing out.
