Ivomec super at one and a quarter times dose. I will give Trodax in a few days, and then follow up with drench dose next week

No Point in giving Trodax in a few days. If your farm is⁹ not wet then Ivomec super should kill any ordinary fluke as long as they are 9-10 weeks ( mature fluke). Is his dung still liquid and bubbly. If not give him time. Anyway I think you said you dosed him before. I give him a mineral drench like Grovite. If he us still scoury I would suspect stomach fluke.

TBH if he had been mine and the orginal dose saw no improvement I would have drenched with Levetas Diamond or Zanil for stomach fluke. It also dose mature ordinary fluke and again 6 weeks later. Unless there is proof of resistance I would not dose with different products.

However did the vet say anything about photosenstivation he a CH any light skinned cattle are sensitive to that. If he is shed him and fatten him

Yes that makes sense, I've no dug sample results yet so may just wait for those. Vet never mentioned photo sensitivity, He's in the shed at the moment, not scouring either. Hard to tell if he is improving or gaining weight but he is eating a good lump of fine hay along with a bucket of Beef nuts daily so it must be going someplace.

Kind of related - to do with worms, fluke etc.

Would anyone have a one pager that explains the various types of worms, symptoms & signs, treatment & doses required etc both preventative and for treatment. Only farming a few years and it's one area I struggle to understand. Thanks.
