Wouldn't break down in tears I think.

Do you spend lots of time passing judgment on what someone else does, when in reality they probably couldn't give 2 poops what you do with your life?

Music is a big nostalgia and life moment hitter for people. It can remind them of a multitude of things.

It clearly does upset you or you wouldn't be on here going on about it.

So it doesn’t mess with Liam’s voice I’d swap Hello for Colombia and Little by little for Going Nowhere.

I’d love to see Alive and I will believe live if I was picking. Also I’ve a big soft spot for Fade In-Out and Rocking chair. Ah I’ll be here all night..

Yeah, we need to let DCC not limit these gigs to 10:15 so we can hear another hour.

Or maybe they can start earlier.

I don't get how people think its strange that people cry. There was so many emotions that other night - from people reliving their youth to those who never thought they'd get to see this phenomenonal band.

My own personal emotion was during "Half The World Away" - I still remember my late mother dropping me to the record shop to pick up The Masterplan and us listening to it on the way home. Unfortunately she is now half the world away and I'd give anything to just get a chance to listen to it with her again and give her a hug.

Different things mean different things to people. Crying over sport - not for me. But music often reduces me to it, particularly when it triggers a memory of one form or other. Saturday night was one of those nights and for me, each to their own!

Liam is not going to be signing 3 hours a night. He can barely do 2 hours as is.

Ah come on man Little By Little is literally going nowhere!! It was one of the highlights of the night the other night. The place belted it out, I think it was my favourite song of the night! :)

A big part of the song mix is I’m sure to protect Liam’s voice. A new tour may change the songs but you mind find the lead vocal split is still the same

    Very good summery

'Half the world away' is a happy memory for me as I grew up watching 'The Royle Family'. 'Little By Little', 'Wonderwall' and 'Moring Glory' are my other favourites

Got a bit emotional listening back to 'Champagne Supernova' last night and that's a song I would never had as a tear jerker for me. 'Rockin' Chair' is a bit emotional for me

He's not even doing 2 hrs. He doesn't sing in around 5 or 6 songs

Little By Little is a song I don’t mind but could take or leave from a setlist…until I saw it live. There’s always one song at a gig that hits different in person and I get a new appreciation for it. Outstanding as a sing-a-long when the chorus drops.

    Yes.

Stop Crying Your Heart Out is one of their best songs but I think its too hard on Liams voice. They rarely played it in the past , dont think Liam has ever sang it solo.

They might have to add it to any future gigs as apparently there are people crying in the crowd which is bang out of order.

The thing is the setlist from the other night was so good it would be hard to top. It was basically the same setlist from the Familiar to Millions album wasn't it, maybe there was the odd change but not much.

Depends who the target audience is. Those who were there or those who weren't! By that I mean if they played the same again at future event it would be "Ah sure I heard this last time" versus the "I can't believe they didn't play Wonderwall when I couldn't get a ticket last time".

Was a huge fan 94-97 and saw them 3 times plus Liam last year in the point with my brother who was just as much in love with them in our youth as me.

Neither of us went last weekend as we felt it unnecessary but delighted to see there is so much love for the band and songs.
Great to see them back lashing through the bangers and anthems.

Sure there would be no craic if we all liked the same stuff! :)

Can i ask has any interview been done anywhere ? Would love to hear their reflection on it all..in a serious way...

Might be part of deal ..no media as these are times it brings out worse in both of them about the relationship?

Back then everything was up for discussion as far as the band were probably concerned. Now though..

I don't usually get post gig blues or anything but jesus work was rough today

It looks like entire thing is very controlled behind scenes.

Too much money involved for any risk of a fall out.

Funnily enough I felt great today.

Sometimes gig elation hits me after a gig, and I can look back and say **** me, that was a cracker.

I have seen Noel a couple of times over the last few years here in Dublin and at each concert he brings Manchester up and gets booed .

So I think he knows the score at this stage tbf and it's just his humour and way of winding people up.. 😊

Maybe he does the same at concerts elsewhere ?

I was sat in the lower Davin stand last night. I'd never been to a gig in Croke Park before. We got in just after 6 and the entry was flawless, took no time at all.

Found our seats and then ordered some drinks. I am not going to complain about prices or selection, it is what it is at gigs. You know what to expect.

Wasn't too fussed on seing Cast but they were full of energy and put on a good show. It isn't an easy slot for a band, the place is nowhere near full but they made the most of it.

I am a big fan of the Verve and Richard Ashcroft. Was delighted he was supporting. He was flawless. His voice is still sounding supreme. I'll see him again soon enough in Newcastle.

I have nothing bad to say about Oasis. Have been a huge fan since the start. Have only seen them 4 times before though. Nostalgia overload in the lead up to this and throughout the gig, phenomenal, epic, biblical.

I was delighted with the behaviour of the crowd, and I can't put it down to the age of the crowd as around myself there was a huge mix of ages.

There was nobody stood talking to their mates during the performance, there wasn't a constant stream of people clambering past me to go get drinks and then the subsequent toilet visits. I might have got lucky where I was but there seemed to be a mass concious planning to ensure this was done between 19:45 & 20:15.

I knew the setlist anyways and have no complaints. I'd been listening to it in order for months prior to this. It flowed so well and the gig flew by for me (maybe that can be my only complaint).

I was impressed with the younger generation around me. One couple in particular who id guess were very early 20's. They knew all the words, singing along in pure joy and seemed to be there for Oasis and one another alone, rather than as some social status opportunity.

I don't know how to finish this post other than to say it was great to see that even if Oasis didn't get back together, they were alive and well in a whole new generation. Live forever indeed.

Is the pop up shop still open? Would they bring down the leftovers from the gigs?

Kinda regret not going for one of the Firebird jackets. They're very nice and saw the ones sold at the weekend had "Dublin" on them which is cool. Should have picked one up

Whose their support for America and Australia?

Was there last night—oh my god, what an incredible concert. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at a gig before.

The crowd was amazing, and one thing I really appreciated was how few people were on their phones. Sure, there were a few phones here and there, but for the most part, everyone was fully present and living in the moment.

We had no issues with queues for the bar or toilets—we were in the Lower Cusack, and once Oasis came on, it felt like everyone just stayed put and soaked it all in.

Disappointed no small sizes left in adidas gear either in pop up shop or merch stands. None online either.

Easily the best gig I’ve been to in a long time. Will we have Slane 2026?? I’m already dreading the ticket scramble!

Yes, open until tomorrow. Yes, they brought down the leftovers. But there was only big sizes left in any Adidas, they ran out of everything below XL last night when I was looking. I got the navy one online with no city on the back and then wanted the Dublin one, mediums weren’t to be found though.

The pop up got plenty of the got specific t-shirts though and other bits and pieces apparently.
