That must be Nigel with the brie...

Neighbour down the way likes to play some terrible radio station loudly every time there is a nice day. It must be ShiteFM he listens to.

Friday morning I decided to scrub my decking furiously. Now my arm is wrecked with muscle pain. Can't even lift it. It feels like it's broken.

People who put their car tax/NCT insurance holder on the top of the windscreen instead of the bottom left.

Bottom left is the only place.

Time to put childish things aside.

I've had this a few times with B&Q and this week with The Range crowd. These British companies are in the Irish market but offer a smaller range of products than in the UK. So you Google something that you're looking for and get a result that, say B&Q, have it. On you go to their website to find it's only available in the UK and sometimes that excludes Northern Ireland as well. Pain in the h*le.

TA!!! I'm trying to find the maximum number of solar panels I can fit on shed roof. Half the panels I can get a price for online don't tell me what size they are :-(

Wake me up when it's all over.

Waking up at four o clock this morning to use the bathroom and finding a hideous winged demon from outer space buzzing around the bathroom.

To quote south park, it's coming right at us (it flew straight at my face) so I gave it a terrified slap and it landed on the window sill.

Things like this should not exist. From googaloogling it seems to be an Ichneumonid parasitic wasp and that name does not endear it to me.

    ¡arriba, arriba! ¡andale, andale!

People who drive there wrong way around one way carparks, especially when the carpark uses chevron parking. Why would you do that!

Also, has the extensive use of fitted sheets mean people can no longer make a bed with a flat sheet? The ends need to be tucked under the mattress folks to secure it. It's not like I'm asking for hospital corners (though those would be nice!).

People who jump out of their car and start remonstrating after an incident when they're actually in the wrong

It's happened me more than once , I don't say to much and then it hits me , they were actually in the wrong

    My TA is:

I live in an apartment block/building, my apartment is upstairs, but downstairs is a sitting room and kitchen that is communal. Inside the kitchen, there are washing machines and dryers available for use. I use the washing machines fairly often, and I always bring my clothes from my apartment up and down in a reusable bag. I did a load of laundry the other day, and I was about to bring it back upstairs when I discovered that some cheeky person had stolen my bag!!😡☹️. I thought that maybe someone had 'borrowed' it and brought it back, but nope, my bag has gone forever☹️.

To prevent this from happening again, I made a sign and stuck it on a different bag I had. Hopefully it won't happen again!

I'm a big fan of discs on windscreens.

I understand they might be fakes.

However I think its great when your getting into a car with a stranger or a new friend you can have a quick look at the windscreen and have some idea of what you could be getting yourself into.

Similar when your sending you kids off with parents or friends when they start driving.

Why are Guards wasting time standing on roads looking at bits of paper that may or may not be real?

ANPR has been around for decades.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,021 ✭✭✭✭freshpopcorn

I think they should use ANPR and keep the discs. You'll never change my mind for the reasons I gave.

Unless you gave all citizens access to a limited service of the ANPR system.
