Tesla model 3 ,long range or performance

OP its quite simple just test drive both and see which one you prefer. You can always get the acceleration boost on the LR model if you get bored

P is 28% more expensive than LR AWD, or on absolute numbers 14.25k. That's not just little. The performance has the smallest range of the whole Model3 lineup with LR AWD being 28% above P (150 km - more than to original Leaf from full). I'd say in my opinion LR AWD is a day to day car which can go fast and go long without breaking the bank, while P is a car for drivers who enjoy driving fast and can afford it. Rationally, a business can't justify purchasing P. Having said that, now with the addition of LR RWD it is bit hard to justify buying AWD (+6k) but much harder for P (+20k)

Let's be honest too; if you want an enthusiast performance car, most people would still rather buy something with an ICE in it.

Did the same last year after advice from @Gumbo and @unkel here. Head said get a new SR m3, heart said get an older P-

Been very happy with it, nice for the commute, very comfortable, handles well, great sound system, blinding acceleration etc and looks well with lower suspension, wheels and big brakes, also not many of them about compared to sr’s.

Also worth noting that an older Performance would definitely depreciate less than a newer Long Range
