Was waiting for Spurs to concede and be pure Spursy.... But no! Double CS locked in.

    Isidor (Talbi)

Sunderland complete the rout and well deserved too. West Ham had no answer for them.

Muniz takes my Verbruggen CS in the 96th minute. Feck sake.

And only 6 minutes was added, literally last attack.

As a De Cuyper bencher, that last minute goal is beautiful.

Things were going so well with 20 pts on my bench boost

Ya. But look, the way the content creators were going on they were expecting 15 points from him. He got 8. Ekitike was my captain so he did the business. Not bad overall. A good few own Kudus and his haul today is arguably more irritating than what Salah did. I took Reijnders out at the last minute for Rogers. Not sure now that was the wisest move.

Spent about half an hour picking a team this year, how times have changed. The last change was Konsa out for AWB so I suppose will call that a win. Also went for Tosin who is now injured. Bowen, Rogers, Watkins and Wirtz all good on paper but useless.

Was about to say I hope Reijnders doesn't end up the assist-the-assist player, but nice goal!

Prob the best opening week I've had in a few seasons and I've definitely got 10 out of 15 players that you'd expect to make every template team.

55 points no chips used with Sels, Tarkowski, Murillo, Mbuemo, Rice and Gyokores to play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,683 ✭✭✭✭shmeee

63 on BB. 3pts from 2 on bench so far.

Spurs, Liverpool and City assets all returning! Only player who didn't was Fullkrug in starting 11.

6 to go. But none are the highly owned Mid premiums, so could come back into pack a nice bit still.

First hot take of the season.....the West Ham goalie is diabolical

Anyone watching MOTD that doesn't own Reijnders will be tempting to get him in before a price rise and it's as good as paying €6m for him then to find the extra 0.1m after the rise.

West Ham are well able to produce some awful goalies over the years, he has no control or confidence in the box.

Till next week's round of Pep roulette sees him fall again. I'd rather find the extra to bring in Haaland

At 6pm Friday I switched Reijnders to Rogers. Yesterday's haul hurt bad. But I don't think I'm going to knee jerk here. He's got 230k transfers in already since yesterday. Hopefully people keep buying him today and that might prevent a 0.3 rise this week. Wirtz has 120k transfers out so people are swapping him for Reijnders. I will give Rogers another week at least to see how he goes. Hindsight is 20:20 but the obvious plan, once I see it now, was to BB GW1 followed by immediate WC. I had considered BB but not the WC after and couldn't build a squad I felt I could BB without compromising the squad too much for next 5 weeks.

Don't think so. Think he's a lock in that team. As much as Gvardiol was last season.

42 points. Absolutely miles behind in my main league. Leader has 86 I think when BB added. I have Saka, Bruno, Palmer, Milenkovic, JP and Sanchez to go but he has the 3 Chelsea plus Sels and Milenkovic . I got schooled yesterday anyway, that's for sure and I'll likely end the week 50 or so points behind him.

I switched Reijnders to Rutter who got 6 at least but very annoying still. Those last minute changes are never worth it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭G1032

My problem was I was going without both Salah and Haaland. Even with a 6 and two 5.5 defenders I still had 1.5m sitting itb. That's what killed me. Kind of wanted 0.5 itb but 1.5 I felt I couldn't leave sitting there. Reijnders made way for Rogers because even though I was 100% sure Reijnders would start I convinced myself Rogers was the safer bet. Only 7 points difference but with my mind made up that I'm going to stick with Rogers for at least another week, I'll likely be down 0.2 or 0.3 if I have to move for Reijnders next week.

Leader in my league on route to the 100 club. BB was active but that's only received 2 points from 2 players. On field where he done the damage with triple Spurs, City and Pool who all hit!

Some big scores but majority of pack then on 40-60pts and highly owned players to still go today. A Palmer and Bruno haul could changes things.

Picking players that don't score points is fine I think, I can accept that. But when you switch out a player last minute, that hurts.

Kudus -> Rogers not looking too good right now.
