Wouldn't be like Ireland to do things differently or less efficiently than everywhere else?!

In a million years, it would never have occurred to me that the on-site merch shop would be open any day except the day of the gig and I doubt Ireland is unique in that.

I was SO close getting tickets this morning for Sunday for just over €200 each. Even took me to the purchase page which I’ve never been able to get to before. Then it said the quantity I selected was no longer available 😭

I've heard people in the upper decks in Croke Park complain about sound quality before but to be frank, just getting in the gate is an achievement for us all!

Bit of irish Oasis Triva for ya

'Reeling in the Years 1994 featured an Oasis song playing over a famous Irish sporting journey. What song and what moment was it ?'

I'll give the answer at 1.30

Thanks. Pretty much as expected. Will aim to be at Croker around 6 as want to be seated with drinks in hand for RA.

thanks, I guess won’t be sure till we get in but as no mention of restricted view I’ll expect a view albeit at an angle of the stage/screens. I assume sound will be unpredictable , dependant on conditions etc . Guess I shouldn’t complain as these were face value presale tickets! Seemed pricey at the time though😀

There really is no action on the TM resale front today. Looks like that's it!

Hope everyone has a great weekend/show to those going! See ye Sunday!

I thought the very same until these Oasis gigs where it seems to have happened in most/all? other cities so far along with the pop-up shops.

Despite the complete hype and mania for the past 12 months around the renunion adidas still somehow managed to underestimate the demand for merch with their stock levels. Was barely anything in adidas.ie when they launched on there (even less now) so hoping to pick up a few bits in the pop up store around the time of the gigs.

Not gonna even bother looking now. Whoever decided on the levels of stock for adidas has had an absolute mare.

Ive never ever seen so much interest in merchandise for a concert, some people seem to be more interested in the merch than the actual concert, its bewildering.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,270 ✭✭✭ledwithhedwith

Its in for a penny in for a pound most have paid so much for tickets they are going full hog on this. Understandable imo, not bewildering.

I know its uncool to wear band merch at a concert (so the kids say) but this is a new level and adds to the atmosphere around the place

Dublin city will be a sea of Oasis shirts and Bucket hats

I totally agree with this even though I probably wouldn’t wear them myself for different reasons.

I love seeing people in tees, bucket hats etc. Tye people giving out about them are try hards and think they are too cool for school.

Most merch isn’t “bespoke” in the way the Adidas Oasis stuff is

The regular merch isn’t selling like the Adidas stuff

Absolutely agree, I am in my late 40s and this weekend I will be donning all the oasis gear , bucket hat and relieving a revival of the music and memories from my youth .
We never imagined we would see them back together and who knows if I will see them again, so I am GOING FULL ON PARTYTIME ! ..

Huge belt of excitement now seeing the stage times.

The good weather is really adding to it. A biblical weekend in store.

not planned. Adidas would be delighted to be selling more oasis rubbish. But logistics, product lines, fabrics and production timelines hamper them making necessary amount in short time frame.

Remember SLF in Slane supporting Metallica. Christ it didn't go down the best at the time

I've a standing ticket for tomorrow, so very happy.

At the same time, I've been searching Ticketmaster hourly for the past 10 days or so, in hope of picking up an extra ticket for my sister.

In all this time, I say I've seen 40 or 50 tickets pop up for resale. I've clicked on everyone, and without fail, I've gotten the same error message every time, saying something is wrong. I should change to wifi/mobile, etc.

I've tried at work, at home, outdoors. All different combinations. It's maddening, but I'm not stuck, so I'll survive.

I’ve spent a fortune on tickets and merch (as well as flights across the world) and it’s worth every cent. The Adidas gear in particular is wearable at any time. I’ll be rocking my firebird jacket, tour t-shirt and bucket hat in a few months’ time 🥳

Cast are a great band live, seen them numerous times, not sure about such a large venue but you'd expect the elders in the crowd will appreciate.

Wonder will Oasis broaden the setlist for next year?
If they swap in the likes of Gas Panic/Digsys/Columbia/Round are way/some DOYS stuff like shock of lightning or to be where there's life it could improve the set no end especially in the middle where there is a lull.

Taylor Swift called and said…… well, I couldn't hear her. She was buried under an enormous pile of money from her merch sales.

If I remember correctly, she needed to hire the 3 Arena to do her merch sales and there were queues for hours.

Personally, I always get merch at a gig. Love buying tshirts to commemorate the show. This Oasis Adidas stuff though is different. It's high quality and has the classic Adidas look

Red bubble is great for unofficial merch and with exception to the adidas gear, same quality
