Man arrested after body found in Downpatrick and priest assaulted

apparently the priest was asked to hear the confession of the lad who attacked him

don’t think you need to be a Sherlock Holmesto figure this one out.

Even if the sanctity of the confessional will prevent the priest from saying anything that was said under the act, Somehow I doubt the psni will have too much work cut out for them to figure it out.

As n aside, this case is not in the Irish jurisdiction so shouldn’t be locked.

Was due to retire this week - poor man - hopefully a full and speedy recovery
