You are embarrassing yourself. It's a discussion forum, nothing wrong with clarifying a 2 word answer but you cannot bear to admit it. Why? I have no idea but it's very weird.

Nice try, but wrong and as usual, disingenuous - because telling the truth exposes your hypocrisy and twisted narrative.

Hamas had agreed to leave Gaza. Their only demands were the ending of Israeli atrocities, the release of aid into Gaza and the release of Palestinian hostages.

The actual reason for Israel reneging was political - Ben-Gvir wanted to cleanse Gaza of Palestinians thus enabling its annexation and that was the concession - allow Ben-Gvir back into cabinet to shore up the Govt. in exchange for the continuation of the master plan through to the final solution.

Israel abandoned its own hostages over a year ago.

You must be delighted your poster boys are going to get another good long run of the 'auld murdering, looting and popping their war crimes up on Tik-Tok.

they had a non-hamas force, they were called the PLO.
benny 2 names decided to shovel money to hamas to split the PLO and bring about division to prevent a palestinian state.
benny 2 names doesn't want hamas gone as he would have just removed the funding and israel does not want a non-hamas force running gaza in reality as that non-hamas force might to be able to reinstate the gains that the PLO were making.
israel has been shown to not care if the hostages held by hamas live or die, in fact hamas have shown more care for them believe it or not as they were agreeing to release them 2 years ago but benny 2 names scuppered it so as to avoid being convicted for being the corrupt and now war criminal that he is.
hamas can't surrender as they are not an army and this is not a war but a genocide which maybe in fact a holocost in the making.
nothing hamas will do will stop this genocide that is possibly a holocost in the making because israel want all of the territory that it has been promised and has been told it is entitled to by god in the holy book.

you already know all of this of course.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

That is patently and demonstrably incorrect. You've been corrected on this previously as well.

Perhaps all the pro IDF genocide supporters from other countries, including Ireland would like to put their money where their mouth is and join up in the great good vs evil “fight for civilisation”.

Just checked in here after a week.

Why has the thread title not been changed to reflect the actual situation?

    Fair play -

"The Government of the Republic of Slovenia today also banned the import of goods originating from illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, including a prohibition on any attempts to circumvent the import ban.  The Government instructed the relevant ministries to examine the possibility of banning the export of goods from the Republic of Slovenia to illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, after which it will decide on further measures."

US pro-Palestinian activist paid 75k to protest, funding traces back to CCP. Anyone surprised by these professional protesters?

There are multiple reasons as to why the ceasefire failed.

Hamas had agreed to leave Gaza.

Really? When did they agree to this, and what were the conditions?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,068 ✭✭✭✭markodaly

Not sure why you quoted my post in this. Never mentioned a "fight for civilisation" either… odd!

Another way to conduct hybrid warfare. The Russians and now the Chinese have been at this for a long time, they take advantage of our open societies to stoke up discontent and conflict.

    More Germans copping on -

"Fortuna Dusseldorf have pulled out of a deal to sign Shon Weissman due to the player’s social media comments on the Israel-Gaza war, which the club say are “not compatible” with their values."

US congress wants to investigate Ireland's proposed admirable stance on Israel. Looks like a lot of opposition about the US support of the apartheid state is gathering pace from politicians and the general public now stateside.

Love to see the AIPAC funding that group of troglodytes receive.

AIPAC should be a registered foreign lobby group.

Yep, it is amazing what cash could make politicians do. Some would even destroy their own country for it.

strikes me as somewhat disingenuous that Hamas are accusing folk of “War Crimes”

Given the 07 Oct happenings one might suggest that they should keep their beaks out of that argument?

    But hey……

I'd like to get every single one of them and drop them into Gaza for a couple of months. Have them live amongst that carnage, beg for food and dodge bullets and bombs while doing so.

That'd wipe those shit eating grins off the cunts faces.

Every single one of them is on the payroll. It's anyone's guess if they even like Israel or if it's all about the pay cheques and the bank lodgements.

Presumably you're unbiased and you apply the same principle equally to Israel who throw out war crimes accusations? As well as antisemitism, blood libel etc. ad nauseum.

"presumably" is carrying a lot of weight of course.

I wonder if there is a gold-plated Genocide tour laid on for them?

Ring-side Genocide air-conditioned seats with military grade binoculars, silver service bbq topped off with Khan Younis Red Velvet cake and a disco mc'd by P Diddy.

Haaretz have produced an abridged list of those totally biased nations and Israelis (including former hostages) condemning the actions of alleged War Criminal Netanyahu and his Security cabinet (including a convicted terrorist of course and another internationally sanctioned minister).

I think its safe to say that the overwhelming majority are clear that Israel has crossed the Rubicon (again).

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said his government will not approve any exports to Israel of military equipment that could be used in the Gaza Strip until further notice. The release of the hostages and a cease-fire are Germany's top priorities, and Israel's decision "makes it increasingly difficult for the German government to see how these goals will be achieved," Merz said in a statement.

EU Council President Antonio Costa said the decision "must have consequences for EU-Israel relations," adding that it ""not only violates the agreement with the EU [from July] … but also undermines fundamental principles of international law and universal values."

Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot summoned Israeli Ambassador Idit Rosenzweig-Abu, saying he wished to voice Belgium's disapproval of the cabinet decision and reiterating the country's opposition to the "ongoing Israeli colonization of Palestinian territories."

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the decision was wrong and urged Israel to reconsider. "This action will do nothing to bring an end to this conflict or to help secure the release of the hostages. It will only bring more bloodshed," he said.

Australia also warned against the move, with Foreign Minister Penny Wong saying, "Australia calls on Israel to not go down this path, which will only worsen the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza."

Turkey's foreign ministry said it condemned the plan in the strongest terms, calling on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to act to prevent the plan's implementation.

Saudi Arabia also condemned the decision, with its foreign ministry saying it "categorically denounces Israeli occupation authorities' persistence in committing crimes of starvation, brutal practices and ethnic cleansing against the brotherly Palestinian people."

The American Jewish Committee, a leading mainstream Jewish organization, said it was concerned that the decision "could endanger the lives of the remaining hostages and may well lead to substantial casualties among both Israeli soldiers and Palestinian civilians."

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum called the cabinet decision "an official declaration of abandonment of the hostages, completely ignoring warnings from the military leadership and the clear wishes of the majority of the Israeli public."

Former hostages Ohad Ben Ami and Iair Horn joined a protest by hostages' relatives against the decision next to Defense Minister Israel Katz's home.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid said the move would "kill the hostages and many soldiers, will cost Israeli taxpayers tens of billions and will destroy Israel's diplomatic relations."

Yair Golan, chairman of the opposition party the Democrats, called the decision a "disaster," warning, "Our children and grandchildren will still be patrolling the alleys of Gaza, and we will pay hundreds of billions over the years – all for reasons of political survival and messianic visions."

Ten protesters were arrested as thousands demonstrated in Tel Aviv on Thursday night to oppose the war's expansion, as the security cabinet considered the proposal.
