    Jebus, they really buried the lead on that one in earlier publicity. Looks fab - A real spiritual successor to Mario Odyssey.

    EDIT: I see a bunch of folks on Reddit theorising this is actually a prequel to Odyssey

    Just watched the direct - I’m impressed. Had zero interest in the game based on what I’d seen before, but it looks bloody fantastic. Still, 80 quid for physical is a bit pricey imo.

    Does look much better than the initial reveal. Nintendo don't like to make things easy on themselves with the supposedly almost completely destructible levels. And with a fan base that insists on collecting every coin, covering every floor and wall with paint and cutting every blade of grass, they'll be making sure to clear every bit of the level they can.

    Terrible Direct EXCEPT for the very last game Octopath Traveler 0 which will be day one for me. The rest of them are of absolutely no interest to me having played them on other systems or just not my type of game.

    That campfire game looks absolutely dreadful!

    Borderlands 4 was one of the snippets I'll definitely try The Adventures of Elliot demo hopefully it'll be fun

    So this is the Silksong Direct?

    at this point, when the release date is finally revealed, would it be a main Direct or an Indie direct? Assuming it's not at a XBox Showcase.

    I would presume Silksong is too big of a game for an indie direct. It would either be in a Nintendo main direct or on one of Xbox's showcases.

    I've heard from multiple places that Silksong won't be there. I think Xbox have exclusivity on the next trailer at the end of August.

    It's 15 minutes long probably be one big game and a bunch of snippets bet they will all be better than that fire log, that looked for about two seconds like it was a full on concept for a Survival Kids remake instead of a weird camera campfire weirdout

    So getting the partner and indie shows out of the way for a big blowout for a full Direct. Though how many repeat appearances will they have. Maybe just in a sizzle reel.

    Just watched 10 minutes of Kirby Air Riders. It does absolutely nothing for me. I'm not even the slightest bit interested in it. I can see some Smash DNA in it too (like exaggerated pauses for some actions).
