Does anyone have an accurate list of goods made in Israel?

All western countries, especially the most powerful ones are highly invested in Israel not being guilty of genocide etc because they are highly complicit and that reality cannot be allowed manifest.

The 'appalling vista' judgement. Disgusting back when Denning said it and disgusting now the west are saying it

I wonder - if someone does arrest him and extradite him, would the US intervene? Even for a non-US citizen? Seems CFTrump isn't happy with the alleged War Criminal starving all those kids and he's not happy about non US citizens (except Bolsanaro)

The vast majority of Nations though would support extradition I would have thought.

He was a "team leader" in a crack IDF unit assembled to go and rescue hostages amongst other things.

    The irony…

I don’t think any country would extradite him or the Netherlands would be prepared to remand him for trial, while Trump is president.
Best scenario we can hope for is for him to serve a sentence for corruption in Israel.

I guess we are unlikely to know as he will hesitate to land in any icc signatory country (except Hungary of course) as many have said that they will arrest him.

If he had to land in Ireland in an emergency, I'd be off to Tesco for popcorn (will check barcode of course - thanks @tayto lover).

I'd say Martin/Harris would rather face the ire of Trump than that of the Irish public. But EU would back us up though.

Anyhow, all wishful thinking I suppose.

Do you know, it struck me tonight that the three stray cats I'm currently feeding are getting way more food and nutrition than a Gazan family.

This is 2025. Forced starvation by Israel 80 years after the Holocaust. It's actually mind blowing.

Israel - World Pariah and will be for decades.

Another genocide apologist arguing about the veracity of the reported numbers of the dead, when the number is guaranteed to be a fraction of the true number. Whatever lets his sad existence on this planet sleep at night.

Just another one for the ignore list.

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/j-street-head-says-hes-now-convinced-israel-committing-genocide-in-gaza/

Head and founder of J Street, a pro-Zionist lobby group in the US has come out and accepted that it is genocide after what he called years of deflection.

In a newsletter Sunday marking Tisha B’Av, a day of mourning to commemorate catastrophes throughout Jewish history, Ben-Ami recalled his parents’ experience with the Holocaust and laid out Hamas’s crimes against Israel, including the Palestinian terror group’s October 7, 2023, attack that killed 1,200 people, resulted in 251 hostages and triggered the ongoing war.

“Yet none of that provides any rationale for what Israel is doing now in Gaza,” wrote Ben-Ami. “Denying food and basic necessities of life to civilians. Soldiers shooting at civilians trying to get food. Destruction of the entire infrastructure of Gaza. Forcing the population into intolerably small areas. Hoping to create the conditions under which an entire population will be forcibly displaced.”

Ben-Ami said he was “unlikely to use the term myself” due to his own family’s experience during the Holocaust. But he said he had still made a shift in his own thinking.

“I cannot and will not argue any more against those using the term. I simply won’t defend the indefensible.”

“Until now, I have tried to deflect and defend when challenged to call this genocide,” he wrote. “I have, however, been persuaded rationally by legal and scholarly arguments that international courts will one day find that Israel has broken the international genocide convention.”

And just like posters here are quietly dropping away to hopefully reevaluate their lives, the guy was rejecting the notion a few days ago.

Ben-Ami’s commentary came days after he repeatedly rejected the claim that Israel is committing a genocide in an appearance on “Pod Save the World” in a debate with the pro-Palestinian US journalist Mehdi Hasan.

So Netenyahu and his ultra nationalist lunatics are now fighting with the military to occupy the remaining part of the Gaza strip where they believe they hostages are being held. This is the only part of Gaza that hasn't been completely obliterated (unlike the rest of it, which we have seen apocalyptic scenes of from the air on the news the last few nights).

This is the only remaining place where Gazans have anything resembling shelter, and given that not one single hostage has been released through warfare (in fact, as we know some of them have been shot dead by the IDF), Netenyahu is in effect signing their death warrant in order to destroy the last remaining part of Gaza.

Their families and top leadership in the IDF are railing against it for this reason - Netenyahu is now threatening the removal of dissenters and replacement with people who will finish the job.

What else can this mean other than the hostages don't even matter to his government? I was wrong in my prior arguments - the destruction of all Gaza and it's people is the goal, regardless of hostages.

There has been 1000 people killed at GHF aid points in the last few weeks, desperate men, women and children shot dead while trying to access food.

Scale and method aside, there is no difference in intent between shooting starving people dead under the pretense of giving them food, and gassing people to death under the pretense of giving them a shower. That is the mindset of this government and military - the mindset of Nazis and of genocidists, and the nations of the world all sat back and let it happen - again. We will never learn.

There is no public sign of Israel calling to mobilise it's reserves. But with 80,000 Israeli soldiers suffering from various injuries im not sure Israel, despite its military might, can sustain the current level of conflict.

Yes they can easily take the Gaza strip, but I have serious doubts they can hold it and could destabilise Israel more in the long run.

To be fair, weren't there a couple that were rescued in a mission that killed a large amount of Palestinians?

Not that it excuses what he's doing. I just mean it's not accurate to say that no hostages were rescued by the military. And I think you're still right to say that more have been killed by the IDF than rescued by them.

Hamas is a shell of itself.

There's no one with the ability to resist. The population are being herded into camps. The militias that Bibi "activated" will be given free rein to do whatever they want so long as the population don't bother the IDF. The IDF just need to oversee it. I don't think most of the population even have the physical strength to resist.

Yes apologies, you are correct, seems like closer to the start of the war, at the cost of hundreds of civilians.

The point stands though, diplomacy got all the rest released - and is by far the humane, and effective way to go about it.

Never mind the fact that Hamas previously offered to release the remaining hostages as part of negotiations, which were rejected, because Netanyahu and his coterie of maniacs want to continue with their psychotic plans.

concentration camp being constructed for final solution

    Where?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,068 ✭✭✭✭markodaly

I've said it many times here, but the IDF want no truck in continuing the war in Gaza.

It will be interesting who backs down first, but Bibi is running out of road.

I see that the military are pushing back against Bibi's plans to take over Gaza.

Want no truck in it yet they continue to fire on people trying to just get some aid?

All well and good saying they're against it, maybe they could try and stop murdering civilians.

It's a bit late now Marko. They have clearly being enjoying the murdering and maiming over the last nearly 2 years. They might be changing their tune now because the whole world is turning against them and their senior commanders are complicit in war crimes. Did you read the link where the doctor in Gaza said the IDF were using children for target practices by targeting different parts of their bodies on different days?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,979 ✭✭✭Rocket_GD

Ignore the last 2 years, that doesn't matter now since the head of the IDF said this, they didn't want to kill confirmed 60,000 (100k+) that was just an accident, they didn't mean to do it don't you know?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,396 ✭✭✭scottser

The IDF are happy to happy to do the actual killing and starving of Palestinians, they just don't want the blame.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,706 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

Disgusting from Microsoft… they need to be held accountable for enabling the genocide. The Irish government also need to get a grip on these companies using Ireland to enable genocide

IDF bombed a UN clinic last night.

Yet another War Crime - whoever keeps that list must be having a hard time of it.

But the ICC and ICJ evidence folders must be massive by now.

Seems the Final Solution is given a green light by alleged War Criminal #1 (at large).

Latest narrative of the legions of Zionists on social media is that the entire starvation of Gaza is faked and is not actually happening. Staged photos and videos, 'Pallywood' etc. I'm quite gobsmacked that this is now their main angle of defence of the regime (rather than blaming Hamas and the UN for food shortages), but it's where we are.
