Can no longer post in certain threads - no warning/info received

I've opened a new account (this one) but I don't really see the point in posting random posts on other subjects from this account so as to reach the magic number to post on the one thread that my real account can't post on.

In the circumstances, perhaps a kind mod with the necessary authorisations would override the minimum post number requirement so that I can post in the thread I set up myself??

I hope that's meant as a joke. I already have an account - I only want to "build" my post count on this ID because the bloody site has blocked me out of my own flipping thread! What else am I supposed to do?

(If it's fixed within a reasonable time, I don't intend to use this account, but since you said there was no timescale for fixing it, and as @Boards.ie: Mike hasn't even replied yet, it looks like a reasonable plan B.)

Umm - that's my point though. It's only in place in certain forums, so somebody clearly can switch it on and off.

I understand why it's there, but this particular case of reregistration is because of failings in the site software, not because I need to prove myself all over again.

I had to switch to desktop, go to my drafts list, delete the draft without trying to open it, go back to YLYL and refresh the page.

I don't know how to do this, I think. Where do you find your drafts? Mine disappear without trace (AFAIAA) ever since the switch to Vanilla. But maybe I just don't know where to look.

Thanks, I'll try to find that. Have to log out from this account first (stupidly I clicked on your link and - of COURSE - had no drafts. Totally forgot it wasn't this account that was the problem. D'uh.)
