Go to the top of your phone browser, click on the three dots at the top (on Android, Firefox, they are three vertical dots to the right of the URL). Two thirds of the way down you'll get an optio to Switch to Desktop. Once there, try and save the invisible post to drafts and try the above.

The other thing you could try is to log out of Boards and close out of it completely, clear cookies and cache and start again.

I'm back in! Thank you so much! (And to @Boards.ie: Mike, @Necro and @Spear, and anyone else who took an interest)

Hopefully knowing what the solution was will help Vanilla solve the problem.
