Werewolf - Disney Classics Showdown Part Two *Start Date 10th August*

@appledrop, fancy trying a game of Werewolf?

It's basically a game with 2 teams.

The bad team are the wolves, the good team are villagers. The wolves have to stay hidden and munch a villager every day, the villagers have to try to find the wolves and lynch them, a lynch happens each day and everyone votes for that.

Most games will have special roles, wolves may have an extra kill each day, be able to manipulate village votes etc. The wolves can chat with each other on Discord and plan how they will play. They're in the minority, but have the advantage of knowing each other.

Village roles include a seer who can peek a player to see if they're a wolf or villagers, a vigilante who can kill one player a day and a bodyguard who can protect one player from the wolf munch. All villagers usually have to rely on what's on thread, unless 2 or more player have a tied role. Most villager won't have a role and are non-roled villagers (NRVs), they're just try to spot wolves.

It doesn't really make sense until you play. The Disney theme is just flavour, regardless of the theme the premise is the same. We play using anonymous accounts too, so Necro will randomly assign players to a role and an account. For instance, you might be Patrick WW in the game.

Have a read of some older games in the Werewolf subforum. It's a lot of fun, can be infuriating at times, but it's addictive. There's also a glossary that you can refer to if you're unsure of terms or roles etc.

Just jump in and play, it can be bewildering at first but everyone always signs up again. You're basically looking for inconsistencies in what others post as a villager, or looking for clues that someone has a role if you're a wolf.
