Which dealer ?

Sorry just saw this I got similar enough with my 60, have mine a little under a month and loving the car

Collected the OH's new Elroq yesterday. Very nice, looks great in Timiano Green with the Lodge interior (red seatbelts). The interior is a nice upgrade from the rather drab and dark Loft, for not a lot of money (€690).

First impressions.

Pros:
Impressive solid build
Very spacious and bright interior
Crisp and fast infotainment
Very well planted, nice steering and handling and well calibrated, progressive brakes (unlike some EV's)
Column stalks the same as a 10 year old Superb, if it ain't broke don't fix it (Audi)
Very quick, only the 60 model but plenty fast.
Boot storage, side shelves and under floor storage well thought out

Cons:
Ride is very firm, back seat passengers in particular will know all about speed bumps, I have read reviews that praised the ride comfort, can't agree with them. Will be checking tyre pressures.
Screen not angled toward driver will take some getting used to, when the drivers seat is close to the wheel for a short driver, the screen orientation is very poor.
Road noise not as well surpassed as you would hope.
Glove box is tiny.
Plastic grab handle for the boot feels entirely inadequate for such a heavy tailgate.

Initially I thought this was a useful idea but there is a storage compartment underneath the boot floor where the charging cable fits, that's why we have ours. Still leaves space for first aid kit, hi viz and other bits freeing up the boot entirely.The car ships with a granny charger under the boot floor, but we keep the inside of that house as it is never needed.

I picked up mine at the start of the month and loving it. Had a mad one today though, the infotainment screen started scrolling a bit like a telly with a dodgy aerial back in the day. I felt the back of it and it was really hot, the car had been parked out in the bit of sun that did come up. Pulled in for 10 minutes left the windows open and when it cooled it was back to normal. I assume it overheated that caused it.

Just wondering does anyone else have a problem with the car stopping a charge at home? I have a Ohme charger and the car is constantly stopping the charge. I've read some stuff online about the two apps clashing what I normally do is approve the plug in in the Ohme app then use the Skoda app after that. Is there any practical steps to take to stop it happening?

Looked at Scenic and ID4. Neither clicked.

Have it limited to 80% in the car, but that shouldn't make a difference in the Ohme app. Last time I used it it stopped charging at something like 32%

No I set the Ohme app to max charge to get it charging right through.

Anyone currently waiting on an Elroq? Have one ordered and app says it should be in transit with delivery to dealer between 23rd Feb and 10th March.

Fierce excited so wondering if it may arrive earlier than the app says?

Cheers. Looking forward to it. No range anxiety but coming from an Octavia I definitely do have boot socks ace anxiety.

I guess I use my boot as a dumping ground so I just need to be a bit more organised.

Other than that, I changed jobs in the time I got my last car. I really do want an automatic for my daily commute into Dublin. At that point it made more sense economically to go with the Elroq - the cost of running it will offset the higher car cost. Not by much but gets me what I want.
