He might well go for another assassaination attempt, first one went well, helped people were shot dead and others injured, major distractions all round and he got the result, others didn't get result they hoped for.

If you watch his contribution, you'll know why.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

Unfortunately he's already gotten 16k+ in donations (probably increased since I read it this morning), and will likely start to make a living as a right-wing influencer (which may have been part of his plan already).

I haven't watched the whole thing but I've seen a few clips with this particular guy and in one clip Mehdi Hasan says "You don't really sound like a traditional right wing conservative , you're something else, you are a fascist" to which the guy replies "Yes ,yes I am" and in another clip he says that his preferred form of government is Autocracy.

A House Oversight subcommittee has approved a motion to direct the full committee chairman to issue a subpoena for Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.

The motion was offered by Republican Rep. Tim Burchett.

She's in prison , can she be compelled to appear?

I mean it's not like they can threaten her with contempt or anything and I'd also assume that she'd plead the 5th for pretty much everything in the absence of some kind of deal for immunity/sentence reduction.

Yep, over 20k at last view according to reports with contributors saying stuff like this

“We need a white nation! It’s our only future! Vive le Fascisme,” one donor wrote while contributing $88.

$88 , a very specific number for a very specific reason..They really are screwed there.

I am still worried by how the lack of understanding of consequences leads to this.

He basically glorified his views…now he is crying foul. What a moron.

Not sure, but it means that Epstein is still in the headlines, and still dominates his press time, and utterly pi$$es him off.

    Long may it continue.

so Trumps big card to play is to pardon ghislaine maxwell ? Midas Touch speculated that it is her that leaked the trump Epstein birthday letter and is applying pressure for a release.

Is Maxwell facing any charges outside of the US? I'm legit curious about that, and if she was how would that work? Say if for instance she was pardoned by the child molester in chief; yet was wanted by British authorities. How are both countries gonna finagle that? Extradition treaties exist.

Although with Starmer in power I wouldn't be surprised to see it all just ignored or explained away

David Frum on Twitter… I said something similar on the thread a few days ago.

The Trump administration is so corrupt they are well capable of this:

    Next acts of the drama:

    1) Trump pardons Ghislaine Maxwell

    2) Maxwell affirms Trump's version of events

    3) MAGA is astonished and offended that non-MAGA suspects a quid pro quo

If he pardons her , she can't plead the 5th if called to testify by congress..

she will go to congress and say it was all Clinton and Biden and Obama and then Trump pardons her…. The DOJ are all Trump loyalist, this is a scheme

A question (or two) that might seem strange; It seems to me that a lot of us believe that a lot of U.S citizens do not have passports needed for foreign travel, have never been outside U.S borders and are therefore insular in belief. If that is true, would that not have an effect on their voting habits, seeing as they have not experienced foreign travel, have not lived with the locals abroad and not experienced living abroad which would have broadened their horizons literally.

Would a limited experience to foreigners living styles have left them at the mercy of their politicians like Trump, who has been abroad and knows the weakness of an insular upbringing?

I am excluding U.S citizens who have served abroad in various functions and employments and the average visitor to the auld country their forebears came from in Europe in the hope they'd have had their eyes opened.

One thing that I keep seeing is the unpleasant chance - for some-one - that there's a locked box somewhere which is only to be opened in the case of an unusual demise, life insurance as it were. One has to look towards whomever is more likely to be caught in the media spotlight if something were to happen to Maxwell, ala Epstein, something with more power than an oddly worded birthday greeting card. Epstein died before Maxwell went to prison.

REPORTER: Gabbard has submitted a criminal referral. Who should the DOJ target?

TRUMP: It would be President Obama. And Biden was there with him ... the leader of the gang was Obama. Barack Hussein Obama. He's guilty. This is treason.

Two things. Every time he says Hussein, it shows he is a racist piece of ****.

Secondly, more distraction BS. He's hoping his base hates Obama more than they hate paedophiles.

Obama lives completely rent free in his little brain.

He isn't very good at hiding his racism at all, mind you, he never has been.

It makes sense when you think about it. The US is huge and offers lots of different experiences. Their need to go abroad isn't really as much as in Europe. Plus because it is so huge, going abroad for alot of them is pretty expensive, the flights are much longer and the trip to/from the airport is much longer. Because of this it makes sense that if you are going to go abroad, you go for a longer holiday. Most Europeans wouldn't travel to the US for a long weekend because of the cost and time spent travelling but happily would go on a long weekend city break somewhere in Europe. Going for longer holidays really pushes up the cost. Plus, Americans don't really get the same amount of holidays as we do, in general, so going on a foreign holiday eats up more of their holiday time.

If you are somewhere in the middle of the US a flight to Mexico will cost hundreds, take probably 6+hours and might even require a stop over. That's a pretty significant barrier. Here in Europe we can get cheap direct flights to other countries that take an hour or so.

    I'm doubtful re: passports.

Sure if they spent time in California or New York city that'd be a shock to the system for some.

Has Manic been along to tell us what this army vet did wrong and why his detention was justified yet? I’m a bit behind in the thread.

After his latest charge against Obama accusing him of treason, and Gabbard accusing Obama and others of treason and sedition, I have no doubt whatsoever that Trump is terrified of losing hold of the presidency and facing retribution for his varied crimes.

The question now is who is going to take the big step and gut him by releasing incontrovertible proof to the media and the internet of Trump's guilt; a Republican or a Democrat?

Speaker Johnson appears to be scared shitless as well by refusing to allow the Epstein affair go to a vote on the floor for an investigation. It's time to cut loose and start a run on Johnson by asking, on the internet: Mr Speaker, what do YOU KNOW about the Epstein file?
