Switching from Eir to Sky - never asked for UAN, probability of getting charged twice?

I think I probably know the answer here sadly, but I'm just about to switch from Eir to Sky after signing up online for Sky's 1gb offer. Currently just out of contract with Eir and couldn't get anything even close to the Sky offer from them.

Ordered the Sky package, rang Eir and they advised to check with Sky to make sure they have the UAN to avoid being double charged. Was totally unaware of this before ordering the Sky deal and don't recall entering a UAN so I rang Sky - they say they can't do anything now as the order has been placed and waiting for activation by an engineer tomorrow (which is surely unnecessary as I'm already on fibre broadband over openeir).

Anyway, the basic question I'm wondering is, even with the two providers being on OpenEir, am I likely to be double charged as I'll now have to give Eir 30 days notice instead of a seamless transfer via UAN?

    Thanks
