The part of the shaft that is connected to the gearbox. There is a rubber booth/cover over it. I am looking to get a photo of the set-up under the cover. If the black cover is pulled back. I want a photo of the pto shaft cover and the universal joint. I removed the shaft cover to do a repair job on the joint and I think I left a part out. It does not look right.

Take a photo of the gear box first to see if it is the same as mine.

Am I missing a part around the top of the pto cover. Around the white thing that goes around the end of the cover. The white part is very loose. The black rubber booth is in the background. It is upside down in the photo.

Don't think there is anything missing the white collar is to keep the pipe in place the bellows should hold the pipe after that.

There's a big jubilee clip on ours at the base of the rubber boot. But we bought it second hand so the previous owner might have put the jubilee clip on. Ours is taken apart as had to put a new hardi spicer in it last week.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Do you think I am missing anything off the guard.

Will take a pic of ours tomorrow and get back to you. Have you ever had to replace a gearbox seal? I'm using liquid grease in one of ours.

No. Not a gearbox seal. Shouldn't be a big deal.

I don’t think you’re missing anything. Might be more to the white collar though on the black plastic shaft cover.

Same machine alright. Your missing the white plastic bearing (for want of a better word). Thanks very much for that. I appreciate the time and effort you went to.
