30 is much more pleasant than 25, then head to the coast for a dip, west is best in these set ups.

Depends on the person. I'll be fairly dead centre in the country this weekend and I will welcome 30° and no breeze with open arms. I'll be doing lots of physical work outside all weekend as well so I'll work up a good sweat but once I keep hydrated, all will be good. Suncream will be essential though for all, even any places where it's partly cloudy.

we get 18 to 19C throughout most of the summer. 24C isn't even that hot, in Spain that's a night time temperature. Even in the UK they don't get all that excited for 24C. For us 24C and above is rare during the summer, some places don't even reach 24C once over an entire summer some years, last summer being a very good example.

I stand by my 25c sweet spot. I love warmer on holidays by a pool or the sea but not when driving around Dublin or going into work in trousers and a shirt.

Some high rainfall totals showing up for next 24hrs, most falling overnight. Thunderstorms best chance in the West later this evening/ overnight.

Becoming blustery /windy overnight into tomorrow.

Big spread of where the heaviest rain will fall amongst the models, Waterford looks like it might need to be included in the warnings, time enough though to wait until tonight's runs to come out to fine tune it. Met Eireann has a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow but quite a low chance I would think, Sunday on the other hand looks more active and more widespread and getting into the low 20's perhaps, tomorrow looks like getting into the high teens and maybe 20 or so in the midlands. Humid enough especially on Sunday with DP's in the mid teens.

The models this morning showing the highest totals for Cork county, some suggesting up around 50mm for parts in 24 hrs or so, some models showing Waterford into yellow warning levels too.
