Surprised there was no discussion about this. Just wondering if many on here went to it and what did they think?

Personally thought it was really good up until the last encore. Some solid jokes and the the inevitable 'misheard lyrics' section was a highlight. The singalong at the end just didn't do it for me at all though. 8/10.

Apparently, it was the exact same show as he did last time he was here, which must have been pretty disappointing for those who went two years ago!

I really enjoyed it, thought the singalong at the end was great!

I really don't understand Peter Kay's popularity at all.

Ah yeah forgot he has those shows on sale since what 2022 ?

Went in 2023 and enjoyed it. Is he still doing the Oasis bit in the sing along ?

Grew up on Phoenix Nights and the like. Fun times that certainly was not PG. If you need a laugh join this group on Facebook

The Noel Gallagher bit is still in the sing a long.

Absolutely loved Phoenix Nights, so many great characters. Max and Paddy had its moments too.

I went to the show twice. I bought July 25 (last week) when they first were launched many many years ago. I live close to Arena so when I saw a cheap ticket going back in 2022 for the opening night I went by myself.

Love Peter Kay and his comedy. My mam is from near Bolton so have an great affinity to him. It is by no means a bad show but is as broad as hell. I said to the missus it is good but very much a show your mam and granny would love.

It is a pity cause the out and out stand up bits are hilarious and as good as stuff he used to do. The sing along and the "Remember this advert?" parts border on crap and take up a huge chunk of the show. As stated, it's a trip down memory land half the audince don't give a shite about but others lap it up.

Exactly that. Mate of mine absolutely loved the sing along/adverts part, but he's all over any kind of nostalgia from the 80's/90's!
