There's a little see through peel off label on the back of the watch you might want to remove too. 🕵️

Best not to find logic in a company that sells 200€ watches for 30€ :P

I ordered 1x on the 8th and 2x on the 9th. Was afraid the two I ordered on the 9th would delay the first one and give Amazon a chance to pull a 180 but it seems all 3 arrived in one pack into Dublin this morning from France.

Ordered on the 9th and status has been stuck on ordered but just checked and updated to dispatching now...

I've never turned the Bluetooth off on my phone, had a bunch of different watches and bands (Samsung, Huawei, fitbit, etc) and have never thought it was having any impact at all on battery life. I think they're designed largely to have constant connection with phone where possible, so I can't see any logic in trying to save a tiny amount of battery life...

Bluetooth hasn't drained phone battery to any extent for years.

Hi all, thanks for the bargain alert! I ordered two on the 9th, and they sat at order status for ages. From comments here, i expected to only get one, which is fair enough.

But I received emails overnight that both have shipped, and the current estimated date of arrival is the 23rd. Maybe it's because I didn't order two at the same time, I ordered one then later ordered another

Looks like others who ordered two on the 9th have both on the way - I still have none on the way as nothing dispatched yet! I'm wondering will I just give up at this stage - confident that some nice boards soul will take pity and flog me one which I'll just keep for myself - and feck the teenagers!

I ordered 2 separately also on the 9th, but they still haven't dispatched yet!

    Arrival time says July 21st.

Your post fills me with hope, thanks!

My 4 are out on delivery despite initially saying Tuesday and Wednesday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 264 ✭✭Lester_Burnham

Mine left France on Friday morning early and then silence. Now it's out for delivery with my postman, apparently without bothering to get itself sorted in Dublin. A truly smart watch.

Truly pennies to them. They are minting millions, but even that's nothing to them compared to how much they are raking in with AWS. It's just mindboggling how big and rich they are.

Billions dude, hundreds of billions, not millions.

Is there a bit of GAS (gadget acquisition syndrome) contagion going on here? :D

'only a watch. A good one, but still…

Did those who received the item, receive it an Amazon box? Hopefully its not on full display as to what it is.

Thought I was sunk as hadn't had any dispatch notice on mine at all after ordering but got a ping this morning, dispatched from France, due next Monday apparently. Pleasantly surprised

Mine just arrived (from France) was due tomorrow. It's really nice and even nicer at price😁

Big shout out to RocketRaccoon, must be bargain of the year. Thanks

Has anybody set up it for card payment yet? I don't think any Irish banks are able to be added which is a shame. They say instead to set up a Curve account and add it that way, but it appears that this means setting yourself with a Curve card for payment, and not your PTSB (or whatever) card, which is what I want to do.

The other annoying thing is that if it doesn't work for us, that the double tap of the top button is redundant as you can't edit that function to anything else, it's factory locked to card payments only.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 158 ✭✭extrafluff

It only supports Mastercard cards & I don't think any Irish banks use Mastercard (maybe some do for Credit cards). When you set up Curve, you add your PTSB Visa cards & then Curve gives you a virtual Mastercard to use.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,720 ✭✭✭wiz569

You can link your PTSB card to your curve card

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,843 ✭✭✭podge018

I have added my PTSB card to Curve, but I can't see how to add that to the watch?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 158 ✭✭extrafluff

Seems like you need to use Zepp Pay on your watch to enable you to use Curve for payments.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 264 ✭✭Lester_Burnham

I have MasterCard from my credit union and Revolut. Haven't tried setting anything up yet as I'm in the early stages of exploring. One thing, I've small wrists but it's really comfortable and light.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,843 ✭✭✭podge018

so I found the card details for the virtual mastercard on Curve and entered them in Zepp pay. I couldn't see a way to link to my PTSB card. I tried to pay for something just now on my watch and it didn't work. I took out my phone and tried the Curve card in my wallet and that worked, taking the funds from my PTSB card, so it must just link itself automatically.

Now to figure out why the watch attempt didn't work.

My two watches arrived as well.. weren't due until Wednesday.

Lovely looking watch.. definitely looks like an oul tempered glass screen protector wouldn't go amiss though.

Thanks again to @RocketRaccoon for posting it.
