Supporting Hitler is "another point of view".

You are European. Putin is slaughtering Europeans to steal their land. I haven't seen any posts from you genuinely condemning it, instead this thread is used to play the contrarian - always in favour of Putin, never in favour of Europe or Ukraine.

You are absolutely entitled to your other point of view just as others are right to point out it's a vile view.

Just spotted this is there something going on?

'Flights canceled across Central Russia. GPS, mobile internet, and even ATMs down. Officials claim it’s all for safety amid drone strike fears'

This has been happening on and off for last few months. The regime has been testing emergency shut down procedures in case of another Wagner coup.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

The assassination of the Ukrainian intelligence officer, the work of the Russian FSB. The perpetrators were liquidated today, in an operation led by the head of the SBU himself

During a special operation, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine eliminated agents of the Russian special services who, on behalf of the Russian FSB, had killed an SBU colonel in Kyiv.

The other day, in Kyiv, SBU Colonel Ivan Voronich was killed as he was leaving his house. An unknown person shot him several times with a pistol and fled the scene.

After Voronich's murder, the killers tried to "hide". But SBU officers discovered their location in the Kyiv region. Today, July 13, in the morning, following the SBU operation, the killers were liquidated. The special operation was personally led by Malyuk.

    Excellent work.

Malyuk ran the amazing drones vs Strategic bombers op.

According to many western media outlets Donald Trump is due to make a major statement on Russia tomorrow , Monday 14th July 2025.

I wonder what it could be? Maybe finally waking up to the reality that he has been played all along by Putin as he has no intention of a ceasefire or truce or to end the war. Putin is all in now and wants all of the Ukraine.

I hope the US and the NATO arm Ukraine now to the teeth as this war is not going to end via a diplomatic solution as long as Putin is alive.

Didn't notice it mentioned; a couple days ago, Orc drone operators targeted and killed a baby. Ukraine found the drone operator and eliminated him and his colleagues.

Listen, I'm not particularly in favour of what's happening in Ukraine. I think I'm giving a different opinion, from a perspective from what I know is the sentiment from the other side, in relation to people from the area. But you're having a joke if you think the European leaders give a toss about Ukraine.

Probably more hot air and no real action against Russia.

I really find it hard to believe it'll be something positive for Ukraine (or us in Europe).

Maybe US unilaterally announcing easing of sanctions on Russia or something?

He and some of the pro Russian Trump admin. officials have been musing about this for a while - the business opportunities on offer for the US in Russia, how Russia should still be in the G7/G8 and all that guff, or the even more brain-dead idea of allying with Russia in some way against China, or something.

No doubt it will involve a 2 week deadline.

Putin has 2 weeks to show willingness to peace or to have a concept of a peace plan etc...

Or the US is changing tact and going to ease this and that sanction as a show of peace etc....

I'd love to be wrong though. I could also be Trump telling the Senate to get the sanction bill to his desk in 2 weeks, then threaten Putin when it's signed that he has 2 weeks.... Basically 2 weeks!

Trump is doing everything he can to distract from "Epstein" , it is apparent that the Russians have a hold on him, what ever he announces will not be followed through on," fake news" same as most of trump's statements.

It's been signposted already. European countries to buy arms from the US for Ukraine. Problem is America can't just magic up the most wanted weapons even if fiat money is thrown at it. There's a pecking order and Ukraine is down the list.

Also the US senators will get their 500% tariffs bill signed by Trump, accept he'll get the final say on their application which he won't implement for fear of a trade war with China that he has only recently calmed down.

    More bark than bite.

This Pistorius clearly no runner of blades, or any other kind of weapons…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,629 ✭✭✭Wolf359f

So they said they won't announce the weapons they will deliver (even though they still announce it) but they will announce what they won't deliver??? Is Germany still afraid of 'escalation'?

Why can't they be be cute and make that statement, but allow Ukraine to collect said missiles themselves and transport them into Ukraine! Technically they didn't deliver them.

That aside, the long range missiles Germany has being developing/funding for Ukraine should be in operation by the end of the month.

Not surprised to be honest. Unless Germany finds a way to completely decouple the Bundeswehr from the targeting process for Taurus, I can't see them handing over the weapons.

It's that targeting process that's likely the sticking point here. I mentioned this in a long post last year but basically, targeting and mission planning for the German Taurus missiles relies heavily on Germany's SAR-Lupe recon satellite constellation, as well as other similarly classified sources. If Germany were to provide Taurus to Ukraine, it would be faced with a quandary: Either allow Ukraine access to the Taurus mission planning suite and its sources, giving Ukraine access to extremely sensitive information that Germany isn't even sharing with its NATO allies from all that I've been able to gather, or let the Bundeswehr handle the targeting and mission planning, in the process turning Germany into a belligerent in the conflict. Doing the latter would violate German criminal law in a pretty open-shut case, and you can bet that there'd be hundreds of "peace activists" who would file charges if any government made such a move.

The details of all of this are obviously not public knowledge. More crucially though, any assessments or legal advice sought by the government tends not to be provided to the opposition parties in the German Bundestag. This basically means that on the campaign trail, then-leader of the opposition Friedrich Merz wouldn't have had access to this information. Neither was the opposition CDU's spokesperson for defence. He would have only been briefed on this once he took office, which is why he continued the Taurus talk after the election, whilst coalition negotiations were still ongoing.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Mulbot. unlike you, I can assure you that I speak from personal experience, and I have many similiar experiences. And not only from Russia either! But thats the best reply you can come up with?, paint me as a liar? Yeah…some detail all right! Typical Russian methodology, cant disprove what a poster posts, so attack the poster. Yeah, it figures.

Doesn't every drone, smart missile/shell the Ukrainians use, use American satellites also? There was talk also about UK troops having to help Ukraine program the storm shadows.
I'm not sure the German's programming a missile would turn Germany into a belligerent.
Ukraine want the missile (they launch in their airspace, by their planes and by their pilots) to fly this route and land here.
You could argue any offensive weapons or intel Germany has provided has made them belligerents. I would expect aiding an ally defending differs in law to aiding an ally attacking.

Anyway, I'd love if this new missile Germany is helping Ukraine with, is a version of the Taurus with 'standard' guidance and programming.

Isn't it convenient with all your time in Russia that you can only mention bad experiences.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,838 ✭✭✭macraignil

From what I have read of the poster you are criticising's contributions to the thread, this is another example of you simply lying. Why do you insist on consistently bringing lies to this thread?

This poster has said positive things about their time in russia making what you said about them a lie but you already knew that.

Meanwhile in the war with invading scum the armed forces of Ukraine continue to make progress in disarming putin's terrorists:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,685 ✭✭✭rogber

Trump making big but very vague claims about sending "various pieces of sophisticated equipment to Ukraine". Could mean anything or nothing.

Oh and the stupid moron has finally realised that Putin says he wants peace but still keeps bombing, why is Donald only waking up to that now?

Still, I guess it's better than calling Zelensky a dictator and blaming him for the war

Well gee golly, let’s send him to the Gulag then for daring to besmirch the name of the Beloved Motherland (*cue Russian Anthem)

You do get that it’s not all that surprising that people won’t exactly have warm-fuzzies for a land that aims to destroy one democratic European nation via a genocidal war and has designes to go futher if they can? That people are going to lean into the negatives about such a place? Come on…you know better than that.

Of course there are good things in Russia, of course good Russians (somehow) still exist, and jmreire probably could regale us with Russian tales that might warm our hearts and present wonder to our minds-eyes…but that’s not where we are now.

Russia is at war with Democratic Europe, and rather than adapt to the 21st Century have chosen the block-headed and mutually destructive path of the «SMO» in the service of one man’s survival. So I don’t blame our fellow Boardsie from not jumping to the good stuff, when the Russians have sullied us with all of this.
