Liveline: Who Would Be The Funniest/Worst Host?

    As the LiveLine auditions are going through the motions at the moment it got new thinking about who isn’t on the list who could, if chosen, turn the show into daily LiveLine Gold. A Fantasy presenters competition really.

    My pick would be Kevin Myers. Not a broadcaster but he has broadcast experience. I remember him from hosting a short lived Universuty Challenge knockoff on RTE in the early 90s. He cave across as very up himself, smug and arrogant. He seemed to have the horn fit Trinity even though I see he went to UCD. I couldn’t see Tracy ringing in because she hasn’t dnogh money to school her ten children after paying for the fags and drink going down well. I actually think he would despise most of the callers and let them know. He seemed to be quite an intelligent erudite man so I definitely don’t see John from Cork faring too well in any exchange.

    Honourable mention to Des Cahill who sounds like he’s just about conscious most of the time.

    What do yips think? If you could pick your worst fit for Liveline from any time or place, who would it be?
