No, Discord and Reddit are separate. Discord is kind of more like a chat room, you have a server for whatever chat you want and people who are members of the server can post in that.

Whereas Reddit has a lot of subforums (called subreddits) for discussions on particular subjects, but the layout wouldn't be as good for games like Sheep or Werewolf.

I've probably explained that really badly, but just to know that they are different sites and neither would be ideal for hosting forum games.

Fortunately we have ForumOfGames (FOG) which was our initial backup when boards first went offline while switching to Vanilla, and it works pretty well: https://forumofgames.com/index.php

@Necro I have seen the odd random query from posters already re what other options for forum games are out there, apart from this very thread. I have signposted them towards FOG. Maybe we should all have the link to FOG as our signature, like I have.

@Goldengirl I would keep an open mind on this. Who knows what could happen? A millionaire arrives and saves the day! At the very least, keep feet in both camps!

I've only figured out how to do the signature thing now, so hopefully if we all do it as Declan said , it'll give others the opportunity to even see what FOG is about.

There are plenty of Boards millionaires round here, but I doubt there are many real life millionaires with the time to hang out on Boards! So I think the site just might be doomed 😆
