The Republican party is led by a man with a golden apartment atop a skyscraper, who constantly boasts about his wealth, and has probably made more money in office than at any other point in his life, and is now being backed by several of the most obscenely wealthy men in America, including Bezos, Zuckerberg and Altman.

Both party leaderships are run by the wealthy, but the Republicans just figured a better message to work over the rubes.

And AOC will be on their hit list. She's as legitimate as target to Miller as any Latino, possibly moreso.

Night of the long knives, US style, incoming.

Trump has used the presidency to launch a digital currency which has made him millions and has also weakened regulations on cryptocurrency in terms of making it easy to avoid paying taxes digital transactions Of course the republican party has got large donations for crypto company's and tech company who want to avoid regulation

One thing, hopefully, the people steering and monetizing I.C.E will forget and that is if they run out of friendly countries to accept the deportees they will end up with a lot of locked-up people and the public aware of where the camp is located. There are other locations around the U.S which the Trump admin has been selectively using to hold prisoners so that he can keep one step ahead of the detainees lawyers and court moves.

Trump has an immigrant figure in his head which he keeps going on about, which his team might know is only propaganda to keep the MAGA heads happy that Trump is doing something about the invasion of "murderers, rapists, drug-dealers harming the U.S.", but which people in the U.S will think is real. Those people include listeners from across the voting populace who will not like such a camp in their state or neighbourhood.

All the detained persons will have lots of family and in-laws in the U.S. who are too many for ICE to gather in and lock up no matter how good and how well financed they are. Trump wont be able to disperse the voting whirlwind he has agitated.

If the proverbial hits the fan next year when people start demanding accountability from the GOP, will Trump try throwing DeSantis under the (it was all his idea) bus or will Governor DeSantis decide to transfer all legal responsibility to Trump's Federal team? Who is tasked with the security of the Everglades camp anyway - federal or state services?

I suggest that the GOP governors of other states are watching what is happening in the Everglades in Florida hoping that Trump's Homeland Security people doesn't ask them to give a helping hand with a secure facility in their states.

Looks like EU are going to cave to baseline 10% tariffs in hope of relief from tariffs on autos, pharmaceuticals and semi conductors which the US had not indicated it will give any concessions on anything yet. Unfortunately trump is getting his way with everything whether we like it or not. The notion that the US consumer will have to pay more is a win for the Eu is nonsense. No countries seem to be willing to take pain to make trump blink only china. EU is giving and giving here and getting nothing in return.

This was the worst part of the bill.

ICE will be the Trump gestapo, and now they have more than enough resources to go full scale fascist

The point of tariffs is to make EU products less desirable to us consumers due to higher price and they will in turn buy us products. Why would the EU and China etc be looking for less % tariffs if it was good for them to have higher tariffs? Thought EU would be tougher but looks like they are beginning to crack. We are getting no concessions from the US.

How does it look like that?

There has been no deal regarding trade between the US and the EU.

Can you show where the EU as you claimed getting no concessions?

Reading multiple reports from various media outlets the general consensus is the EU are going to agree to baseline 10% tariffs in hope of deal on other sectors while also buying more LNG. Many reports have said no US concessions on anything yet. Like it or not trump is getting his way. If all countries were willing to take some pain for while, trump would have to u-turn but everybody is looking after their own interests rather then thinking of bigger picture. Obviously time will tell if the above turns out as reported.

So, given that kind of form, deportation of 'natives' would follow a similar line where promises made to deport only the most chronically dangerous/troublesome would give way to pretty much anyone the Trump administration pleases. who displeases the Trump Administration.

History shows us that the EU doesn't "cave" when it does trade negotiations. If it has decided that a flat 10% tariff on EU→US imports is the lowest they can expect, then they'll be pragmatic and ensure that they get something useful in return. Just because the current US government is so incompetent in trade negotiations, and hasn't yet been able to offer concessions on their side, doesn't mean that it won't happen. Chances are the EU will agree a "deal" that Trump will be able to brag about but that delivers no benefit to the US … like upping their beef quota, for example, when they can't fill the quota that already exists.

The Social Security Administration, yet another mouthpiece for the Project 2025 team. Oh, they didn't eliminate the tax - just changed the deduction. Never expected to see such self-serving pom-pom waving in my inbox.

    Psomeone please enlighten me here

.(1) If someone entered the US illegally in 2023 cane after one year he /she becomes a US citizen AND has the papers to prove it. Is he/ she treated as an illegal in Trump’s eyes and therefor Can be deported on that basis.

    (2) if someone entered the US illegally in in 1970=and has ‘no papers of any sort , are they ‘eligible to be deported?
    (3) If someone entered the US in 1935= illegally and has ‘ no papers of any sort’ , are they ‘eligible’ to be deported. Or has there been a year or age selected at which there is a cut off point?

Trump's position is more extreme than any of these. He asserts that

    • people who are not citizens can be deported if an executive order permits that, regardless of their visa status
    • people who have a regular visa status, and who have always had a regular visa status since they first arrived in the US, can have their visas revoked and can be deported
    • people who have been naturalised can have their naturalisations revoked by executive action and can be deported
    • birthright citizens of the US — people born within the borders of the US — can have their citizenship revoked by executive order and can be deported.

The first two points in fact represent the law, or something close to it, but these are laws that the Trump regime seeks to apply far more vigorously and far more indiscriminately than any previous administration ever did.

The latter two points are novel, and have been challenged in the courts.

Does this mean under point 3, TACO man could deport Melania?

Indeed in such a case he will claim the beef quota has been increased while not mentioning it requires meeting the EU standards which only a minute number of US beef currently does so increased quota means nothing of benefit. And then in a year he will piss and moan about EU beef standards, claim the deal is terrible despite it being his own and ditch it.

was thinking the same, ie. that Trump will POSTPONE the implementation of those parts of his beautiful bill that affect those that benefit from the various food and medical schemes until AFTER the mid term elections

Just seems to be an baboon sitting there.

Not sure what the point of dumping that was.

and what about Trump himself . Even though he was born in America If you go back a generation or two in his lineage you will find that none of his forefathers/foremothers were from America. - HO WAIT , I forgot that that an EO is needed to ‘regulate the deportation of any category of person.

What are the odds of someone ‘slipping’ an EO under his big pen for signing with regards to the depletion of himself!!!!!!!!! I get the clear impression that he does not read what’s in them before he signs them

he continues to ‘Flood the Zone’ . Taking this as an example , he must have the proverbial THOUSANDS’ of similar announcements / events/opinions/ etc to announce to keep the zone flooded?

Meanwhile, the press continue to sh1t the bed and it never stops being depressing as f***

    1000012457.png 1000012458.png

Nothing in the first article about mass deportations, trillions to be added to the national debt, millions cut from healthcare...

Nothing in the second about his use of a racial slur, nor the ridiculous claims about autism.

Instead, we have headlines and photos which appear to bystanders as "just another day".

Elect a clown... Expect a circus
