Was a bit sceptical buying a nail clippers off Amazon but the one I got is the sharpest one I've ever used(almost too sharp) and it holds the clippings too.

My ads on facebook and youtube have finally begun to get it right.

Managed to finally find a pair of running split shorts that doesn't chafe and has pockets built in because of them.

    Hopefully it stays that way.

My garden is a disorganised mess. The very definition of rewilding. It was already like this when I bought the property. I keep meaning to do some work on it but I have no time and no tools and too cheap to hire a contractor.

Today on a sunny afternoon I was glancing out the window and the honey bees just love my garden. They are constantly around the wild flowers. Happy to have them visit 😊 welcome, welcome

You can have a small bit that organized... small bit of lawn, tackle any briars, hedge, tree that'll become a problem if it gets out of hand, and let the rest just 🐝

have a cool old Portuguese home football jersey from 2006. Last time I wore it..about 2 years ago it wasn’t fitting that well. Was going to dispose of it but decided to try it on again this evening having lost a kilo or two and it’s fitting perfectly again… looks well & dead comfy….

Fed up of having a sparkling clean house that smells like a pot factory, I decided to tackle the underused cupboards at the weekend.

Most of them had multiples of cooking implements (he put them away still greasy😣), so it took two days of hot washing to get them back to clean touching.

Found a charity that would take most of the sharp knives for their food prep centre, the rest went to a homeless shelter, so happy they are going to a place that needs and will find homes for them, easy peasy.

I went out to get some shopping done for the weekend this afternoon, and was hoping that I’d get there and back before a rain front moved in down here in Cork. Spoiler alert: That didn’t work out, my timing sucks. However, I decided to sit down outside the store to catch my breath a bit and it turns out that, thanks to a combination of wind and the building layout, my seat was the only one that stayed dry. Every other seat and bench was soaked!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Visiting my parents today and planned to cut the grass on the roadside outside their house (at a junction) to improve visibility but found out from them before visiting that the council had already done it saving me a good bit of work.

I finally finished up in a job I hated yesterday. Didn't think I'd manage to see the contract out, but I did, and I have a nice completion bonus coming my way now. The real bonus is being out of there, though 😃

Got my first phone since 2017. The screen is so much clearer and it's much faster. Very happy.

French man on the BBC discussing French/UK relations. “The Child-Brain of Macron” he said.

I was thinking that sounds much better than “Brain-Child”.

Supermarket day tomorrow and I’d no fresh pasta left so put on some dried fusilli. In the 15 minutes while it was cooking I jumped on my treadmill just for something to do and ended up having a good work out and feeling all the better of it ….quality exercise and delicious pasta bolognese, two things that make me very happy.

Having eaten my pear on my walk, I was holding it in my hand with the intentions of putting it in a bin at the park.

Walking the path towards that park, I was passed by a bull dog type who passed me on the inside and tried to snaffle the pear core out of my hand which was down by my side.

My late gsd would have done exactly that given the same opportunity.☺️

It looks like the weather is going to be 'miserable' next week😁 and I can't wait. Bring back the cold and rain! I'm like a fish out of water whenever the weather gets above 15 degrees.

The resident office whiner is blaming me for some work thing that had nothing to do with me. I seem to be his scapegoat recently. He emailed the boss and said I did something "without his consent" like I assaulted him or something. What a tw4t.

made a decision to sidestep a big family gathering today... Despite being harassed all week… “you are expected, you are expected….” 28° and about 16 of us including young kids, at a shindig in an average sized bungalow, hmmmmm….
Now here, peace and quiet, good food, sport on TV, walk later, tunes on the sound bar, two fans blowing ….. Happy days, and 😎
