Best of luck to the 8 teams left at the business end today and tomorrow! This is where you wanna be.

They have 93 All Irelands between them, plus 69 losing appearances in Finals. Monaghan is the only one without an All Ireland, and they lost their only Final in 1930. Must be some kind or curse.

Nah, we just like a very very good excuse to party! 😁

Flaherty (who has played the last 2 games) has been named to start again tomorrow

Mckiernan is a super ayer, having another brilliant year with Tyrone, and IF he's out he'll be a big loss,it might top a close game in Dublins favour.

I have no dog in the fight this weekend, but would like to see all 8 teams at full strength and no random injuries or dumb refereeing decisions influence the results. Here we go....

    My predictions for this weekend.

Donegal & Dublin will win at a canter. Meath & Armagh will just about edge their games.

I would say it's more to the fact that they havent been good enough to win an All Ireland.

    Whats the semi final rules?

Is it just they'll keep 2 of the group 4 QF winners (Armagh/Dublin/Galway) separate but if all 3 of them, or only one of them, win it'll go just go an open draw?

They just have to try and keep two of them separate if possible?

Think it's previous clashes only. Didn't see anything about keeping group winners apart.

    I saw this on Reddit.

Misspoke all 3 of those were in the same group but if they all win the Quarter Final then they'd have to rematch someone.

I bought the first set of tickets I saw when tickets were released as I was worried I wouldn’t get any and they’d sell out and I needed to get several together.

I tried during the week to get my tickets moved to a more “neuro diverse” friendly seat (that’s available) for my children. I was looking at lower seats and in a section where there’s space for my youngest son in particular to get away from game quickly and even watch near us standing up (at back of the Lower stand).

Ticketmaster response “give them headphones or bring fidget spinners”. Might aswell say to a person in a wheelchair to get somebody to push them up the steps.

I had moved on from it but just got an email now from ticketmaster asking me for my satisfaction with their response. I know it’s an automated thing , but thanks for reminding me you were as helpful as a chocolate teapot.

Dubs, Monaghan, Meath n Armagh if I were a gambling man (thankfully I'm not!)

We’re at the ‘leave nothing behind’ stage. Long as Monaghan do that in what I thought would be a mediocre season for them, I’ll be happy. Gwan the Farney!

Monaghan are coming into this very unproven. Coming out of what I thought was a mediocre division 2 that we even got out of, beat in Ulster, and had a handy run of it since. Down, Louth and Clare, two of whom operate in Division 3 next year, you'll not get any handier than that. Getting hit and competing against a top division 1 team today... I'm not convinced.

I'd prefer to be in Donegal's shoes, but let's see.

Me too. Donegal by 6 and Tyrone by 5. Tomorrow - Galway by 2 and Armagh by 7.

Most seem confident of Meath beating Galway. Would have thought Galways experience in recent years should get them over the line

I fancy Galway to make the final this year as long as they can keep Walsh and few others on the field.

When teams are on the break, would like some "Sensible soccer" style overlay showing position of players

Great goal, Monaghan looking the better team on balance.

very close no 1 game so far!! Hopefully this is the way all games go for the wend (apart from Meath who I hope are 12 up at half time 😜)

Only listening on the radio but Monaghan doing rightly here so far

Been impressed with Monaghan every game I’ve seen

They are playing the new rules to perfection.

I wasn’t impressed with Donegal when I seen them live against Mayo. Same again today.

Beggan a serious weapon for twos

I’m beginning to think they could win it out which would be amazing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,429 ✭✭✭C__MC

    Beggan with a monster

Donegal are in huge trouble here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 631 ✭✭✭vid36

Jimmy is in big trouble here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,151 ✭✭✭threeball

Donegal in all sorts of bother here, 6 down, Donegal living off scraps and the stadium filling up with Dublin and Tyrone fans who will all be roaring for Monaghan. 80% of the crowd will feel like a home game for Monaghan. They're going to be hard to reel in from here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 75,798 ✭✭✭✭FrancieBrady

    happy with that.

Causing headaches in attack and on kickouts. Beggan on form too.
    Donegal jaded

Some performance by Monaghan, making Donegal look very ordinary. Be great to see them win this, nothing against Donegal but the hyperbole around McGuinness is ridiculous.
