BBC radio 6 is playing older live sets/songs.

    Really enjoying it.

Making my work day a happy one

Lot of FOMO this year tbh.

It's the 10th Anniversary of my 1st and only the second one I've missed since, after last year.

    Weather looks good too.

Is the coverage only on the iplayer this year or will it be broadcast on any of the BBC channels and/or YouTube? Have finally got the iplayer working but it's a bit finicky.

6 stages Live on the iPlayer.

I've never known it to be live on youtube.

Also worth bearing in mind that each of the Main Stages (Pyramid, Other, The Park, West Holt and Woodsies) have dedicated channels broadcasting live each day from midday on iPlayer if you've a VPN.

Couldn't bear listening to "Twatty Healy" this evening so the brilliant Maribou State on West Holts for me.

iPlayer + VPN really comes into its own this weekend every year

No FOMO for me but chuffed the sun is shining for the Worthy Farm massive. Only 2nd miss for me since 2003.

Indeed. Had a regular Surfshark membership and gave it up a few months ago.

Wrangled a free 7 day sub off them yesterday evening.

    Result!

Capaldi looking healthy and sounding good to be fair.. great to see!

While his music isn't for me, I like him as a person and it's quite emotional watching him. Fair fecks to him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,899 ✭✭✭✭Basq

^ Nor me. But much prefer him to the majority of dreck singer-songwriters in the charts.

He's no doubt talented and seems very appreciative and grounded of the support he gets, especially for someone who shot to fame very quick. Same can't be said for others in the same boat.

So the Beeb AREN'T showing Kneecap then?

    Censorship is alive and well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,488 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Am I wrong in thinking it's on before any BBC TV broadcasts start but will be streamed on iPlayer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,587 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

Perhaps? I think they are on at 4pm.

Helps that the bbc don't have a tough decision to make.

Ya assuming it will be on the iPlayer, heard there might be a time delay in case one of them shouts the word "bum" or "willy" into the mic, proper order. Children could be listening.

if they are not on the iPlayer it will be just even more publicity for them.

Done this. Set to GB. Is there an iplayer app though as I can't find it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,734 ✭✭✭LowOdour

Ah, forgot this ...it's been a couple of years. On TV settings i had to change location to UK and the app should be available for download then. Think that's how I done it.

You can revert back to Ireland then. It could potentially mess up your channels etc so proceed with caution!

Is the BBC showing any of this, recorded/not live, and free on YouTube ?
