I have two playlists I made on spotify

    ATN25-Band for all the bands
    https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5ZVuJutg3mmhdQu8lmhk7w?si=Ax7ri_cmS32mJm39M8rvVg

ATN25-Dance for all the electronic-y stuff
    https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4BUNchTsFq3vOqr913LuP6?si=Cz28cvkDTwCuHpOm8x4-Tg

It isn't gospel as a lot of DJs records are very different to their live sets, and some DJs don't have records, only do live sets
However for my money, worth checking out is below

Folamour's recent set on youtube called "Elevator Music" is well worth checking out

    Upbeat/Fun

    Heavy

    ATRIP

    KI/KI

    Carlita

    yousuke

    48th & Main

    Sally C

    Folamour

    Funk Assault

    Flight Facilities

    Sarah Story

    Groove Armada

    matador

    Clouds

    Special Request

    MYD

    IN2STELLAR

    SHEE

    CC:DISCO

Ben Bohmer is playing a live set, that should be a different kettle of fish! Looking forward to that one. Early evening some time hopefully!

Lots of good ones mentioned already, I'll throw Parra for Cuva's name into the ring. Benn excellent anytime I've seen him

Couple of the chroma tunes, 2 or 3 older ones, few of their remixes then the rest from other artists.

Listen to Bicep @ EDC Las Vegas by queen-fry on #SoundCloud

Folamour, Ben Bohmer and Parra for Curva have excellent sets on the Cercle YouTube channel. That Cercle channel has great stuff!

Agree @LowOdour .. looking forward to catching Anthony Szmierek live.

Apologies off topic here, but heard BBC won't be showing Kneecaps gig tomorrow at Glasto. Any idea where you could watch it?

They're not broadcasting live but I still assume it'll end up on iPlayer.

anyone any recommendations on rucksacks for the festival and what size i should be aiming at
i usually drive down but gonna get public transport this time

fair assessment but to get any hardcore at a mainstream event I think we need to accept a side order of cheese! I only listened to about 15mins but it got me excited at the thought of jumping like a madman on Sunday if I can stay the course. Getting nostalgic for my mid 90’s days of Ultrasonic and Marc Arcadipane…check it out on YT if you can stomach the relentless bass but warning …will be some cheese and naff in the mix 😆

Enjoying the DJ discussion today. Over the course of a festival I probably go to a lot more Djs than bands but wasn't overly familiar with loads of the names on this year's lineup.

Flight Facilities, Folamour and Bicep were my 3 big ones I'm looking forward to - although approaching Bicep with expectations lowered as I'm not sure Chroma will be as good.

From a bit of research last night and the past few weeks, others on my list now:

Ben Bohmer - nice melodic/progressive dance music on the soft end of the scale.

Bonobo - similar to above, I'd say most will be familiar with a few tunes.

Ki/ki - modern trance style music, will be a very energetic set I'm sure on Arcadia.

Yousuke Yukimatsu - seen him recommended here and that Boiler Room looks insane. Would definitely need to be in the mood.

Sally C - straight up house music with a 90s type sound, some good sets online.

Shee - was unbelievable last year in SKOW, think he got moved here maybe to replace KKC who ended up on the main stage?

Matador - would remind me of a Mano le Tough or Kiasmos.

There's also plenty of stuff that's way too heavy for me, in general I enjoy Ping Pong Disco and know that I can tip in there at almost any stage and enjoy the tunes.

Really enjoyed Sally C at Forbidden Fruit last year. Well described above by @Ferris_Bueller. Will definitely be checking out Matador based on their description as well.

Sally C @ Arcadia and Shanti Celeste @ AVA hopefully will be one after the other rather than clashing on the Sunday night, and if I still have the energy left in my legs, I'll aim for both.

They wouldn't show them on the iplayer last year and even more unlikely to, this time round. BBC were cagey when questioned during the week, saying a decision hadn't been made. Labour and Tory pressure won't help Kneecap's cause. Saying that, it will be a great platform for kneecap to reinforce the political censorship message

Chroma is still amazing. They play a lot of techno and they finish with a few of their own tunes (glue, apricots etc) the visuals are done by the same team as their live shows I'm fairly sure.

Anyone who has camped in Boutique in previous years (when boutique is in it's current location close to main stage)

Can you get your festival wristband near the Boutique campsite, or do you have to walk down to the main entrance to General camping to get wristbanded?

Also, when bringing your stuff through, can this be done at Boutique, or do you have to bring it to the main entrance to get screened, and then carry it all back up to Boutique?

Haven't done Boutique in a few years, but last time I did it was a seperate entrance, right beside its own dedicated car park.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,912 ✭✭✭Easy Rod

separate car park & entrance for boutique where you get your wristband… think you might need to show a booking reference to get into the car park. Car park is very close to camping area so only a 10 min walk or so to your tent

    That's a relief.

And you have stayed in Boutique in ATN near main stage?

Not in the early years when Boutique was accross the pond in front of the house

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 476 ✭✭TenPicnics

Boutique has its own wristband entry point 5-10 mins walk from Boutique parking. Boutique is close to main stage. You don't have to go by any any other entrance/exit UNLESS you're on the buses/coaches/taking a lift with someone in general camping. Whichever is the 1st place you are wristbanded is the place you have to bring your drink in (at the same time).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 731 ✭✭✭Gus Ivey

    Thanks for confirming that 😊

That deep dish announcement has pushed me right over the edge, what a **** lineup

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,198 ✭✭✭Doc07

that’s not the half of it , they carry you and your bags to the tent…only Jk but yes the Boutique car park is really close to the podpads tents and the entry last year with wrist banding and checking booze etc was really quick

Dunno what my plan is for getting to the site from Waterford on Thursday. Local bus from Waterford city to Portlaw and then walk to the entrance?? Be grand all part of the experience. 😆

Just to ruin the buzz a little, if you're in the extremely overpriced boutique camping rather than the "I may need to take out a mortgage just to rent this tent/cabin" boutique camping, it's not quite as close to the main stage as it was last year.

It's still near the main stage, but I think it'll be more of a walk than the last few years (maybe 5 minutes rather than 2 minutes!)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,007 ✭✭✭grudgehugger

Not familiar with Deep Dish but apparently they're Iranian-American. If they're still living in the US, hopefully they don't get interned between now and ATN…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,198 ✭✭✭Doc07

dead right but trade off for the ‘slightly’ longer walk to the arena is that you will park really close to your tent

Thank you for splitting up the playlists like this!! Couldn't really get in to my old one on shuffle with constant switching between styles
