That's F***ing class. I'd go for it but park up the back towards the rear of the Campervan area. Put it up along the back beside the Harris fencing.

I like the look of that AVA line-up. I'm going to have to try harder at liking the stage set-up this year :) Anyone have views on whether it's better / worse to be "inside" the stage set-up vs. dancing round the outside?

My other question for this evening - anyone seen SX2 do a live gig?

As I start my "deep-dive", they seem like an act that I could potentially pass 30-45 minutes at quite happily

Seen bits of them a few times. Very good with a distinctive style.

Seen a lot of social media videos of them too and always been impressed.

What's the best way to check out DJs? Anything better than Youtube sets or Soundcloud?

Max cooper doesn't really fit with that ava stage at all , feels like he belongs in SKOW tent

Still trying to pick up a ticket but I might not be able to get the Friday off work so could be turning up on Friday afternoon. Will it be impossible to get a pitch at this point? Do many people turn up late? Would it be bad etiquette for my friends to keep a space for me?

Also is Thursday a full day of the festival or is Friday the first full day?

Thursday only a few things on in the evening around Bandstand area. Most stages still closed - Friday lunchtime is when it kicks off.

Didn't book boutique camping in time this year so have rented a campervan, but cant see any showers or toilets in the campervan area on the map? is that right?

Perfect thanks. Would it be OK for mates to hold a pitch for me?

Yeah, you have to use general or maybe family showers, has the campervan any?

I just brought a thermal shower bag last year and rested it on the roof of the van, heats up pretty quick in the sun and they usually have a shower attachment

Id normally not arrive til that time myself and some of our group usually later. We just pitch our tents in a way that allows them to be moved later to accommodate extra tents (without taking the piss, like some groups do, when they may as well be marking out a 5-a-side pitch 🙄)

Good to know, and yes I would have thought the same

For those that have gone with kids how did they get on? We're bringing our 8 year old for the first time and my wife is starting to have second thoughts.

Between the crowds, the longs days and nights she thinks she won't be able for it.

I'm all on for it and think she'll have a great time.

There are toilets in the Campervan area. They definately wont let you use the family showers if your not family camping.

What time on Friday do most people arrive at?? We'll be leaving Dublin Friday morning but don't want to be left with no space to pitch a tent.

I remember looking out over the camping from the campervan site last year and commenting how quick it had filled up by Friday lunchtime.

and there will be a few thousand extra this year

There's only 1 set of showers for the whole of general camping, pre pitched camping, and campervans. They're located up the very top of the site near Arcadia

Anyone any guesser where the new "Flourish" stage with IMRO is going to be ?

Looking at the oul map, and I can't see anywhere it would go, only maybe where AVA used to be ?

Yeah, I'd love to bring it....I remember at either the last Wittnness or first Oxegen, whichever was the first one in Punchestown, a group had one of these in the MAIN campsite, decked out with couches, a telly, coffee table, a fridge and a generator! No idea how they got it all in there but I have been waiting 20+ years to emulate that setup 🤣

Thanks lemsiper sounds perfect. Picked a ticket up this morning can't wait now!

How has the comedy stage been the past few years? Off topic to 2025 but I remember seeing the Viper from hardy bucks in the comedy tent in 2018 and it was probably one of the best sets I've ever seen I was crying laughing. 🤣

do it, I had a 10 yo and 8 yo with me last year and they loved it and begged us to buy tickets again for this year. They not only had a great time on the kids zone but they loved wandering around and seeing some of the main stage action …be prepared to spend loads on crepes and the big wheel!!

I’m bringing an 8 year old. We plan to dip in and out of it. We won’t sleep down there three nights. Decided the other 8 year old won’t cope with it as he has additional needs so I have an extra family camping ticket. Only thing is it’s an instalment ticket so I can’t transfer it yet.

For anyone who may be interested, this is my ATN playlist, it's a bit CMAT heavy but I'm not making any apologies for that 😂

    How're ye gettin' on?

Long time lurker, first time poster. Have been getting steadily more excited for this year's ATN, and have made an image with last years festival site and this years, and a slider to go between the two. Pretty handy for seeing how the layout has changed for stuff like Arcadia and campsites. I'm intrigued to see how Arcadia fits into that corner of the campsite, because IIRC that particular bit of the field has a not-insignificant slope down into the corner.

Can't post the link but if somebody wants to PM me i guess i can send it to them to post?
