    Letting the coffee go cold always tastes like muck, either start from cold (cold brew) or make it cold fast (ice). If you insist on using instant, whisk it into a tiny amount of hot water and then add ice cold water to chill it. Ice can be strained out. Then add as much milk as you like. For the sugar sorts, you want to make up a simple syrup, chill it and add that so it dissolves well in the cold drink

    Sardine pate on toast. A tin of sardines mixed with a little butter ,fresh parsley, lemon and finely chopped red onion plus pepper/salt

    Half toast the bread ,turn it over and spread the pate on the toasted side. Put it back to reheat (maybe cheese on top)

    Have been using Shines(expensive) Wild sardines but I wonder why the fish are so small. Maybe irresponsible fishing?(really cheap in Lidl)
