Got mine baked Friday eve 59 bales off just under 6 acres. Drew it home yesterday will put it into the shed during the week.

Baled it up yesterday at lunchtime. Was a mighty hay day with loads of wind. Just over 180 bales off 20 acres. Some of this was planned to go into the pit, but was too light in mid may. Half of it was cut on Friday week and the rest ok Monday.

Chatting to the contractor and he said there was some amount of dodgy hay baled on Friday, just didn't have enough time on the ground. Happy I waited until Saturday as it blew up a mighty hay day. To top it off, a heavy shower of rain fell about an hour and half after the baler finished

For a lot of folks don't be in a rush to put some of this hay in for 10 days

What's the stuff made in may like? Baler man was telling me stuff was very green and could go either way.
