How delusional you have to be to think you have any credibility excusing this disgrace.

Some of us agree with Rogers and Wicker on this more than with Trump.

It's not the conventional Iranian military which concerns me. Iran, after all, has something of a history of what I'll call the indirect approach. Whether their guys are better than the FBI (or third-party government agencies in places like Europe) remains to be seen, but the FBI just need to fall short once for an event to happen in the US.

Nah that's more Mossad style to orchestrate terror bombings through their ISIS proxies like when they had Afghans running amok doing bombings earlier in the week in Iran.

Well Donnie…despite you trying to crow-bar the word «Peace» into all of this, the second you OK’d one of those Bunker Bomb strikes, that lovely Nobel Peace Prize nomination from Pakistan was automatically voided.

The Nobel Peace Committee has made some really stupid picks in the past, but I believe it beyond them to give a prize to someone who OK’d an attack like this mostly to help his buddy Bibi.

Puppet Trump has more hands than he can cope with, Israeli and Russian puppeteers are clamouring to use him and unfortunately for the world he is oblivious to what's really going on, and regrettably with him surrounding himself with the ilk of who he picked...they too are oblivious. When huge numbers of idiots cast their votes, which thankfully is a rare event, well you can see yourself what we can get..... depressing really.

Iran hasn't started a war in over 200 years. Do explain how they're the problem and Israel isn't?

Trump bomber- in a never ending war-

IRAn hits back- or IRAn sh1ts-

The point is not to have a successful war but an endless one. Assange said it about Afghanistan and its true. The birth of another ISIS, manufactured or otherwise, gives the perfect political cover to continue their involvement. The Middle East will never be at peace with the US and Israel knocking around.

I find it hard to believe I agree with Tucker, MTG, Gaetz etc... when are the US going to follow through on their promise of isolationism and leave the rest of the world the **** alone?!

He always has to have THE most simplistic interpretation of any situation.

"Well boys! We bombed Iran. Where's my Nobel prize?"

It reminds me of Homer's "and that's the end of that chapter".

He has now pi$$ed off Iran and Russia.

Does he not think there will be consequences?

Does he not consider why no one else do this?

Yep, Iran will quietly take this and apologise for their behaviour! Mission accomplished!!

Trump is the mouthpiece. I'd say he hasn't a scoobys what is happening. It's the inner circle calling the shots.

I'm not so sure. Several senior MAGA figures last week condemned any potential bombing of Iran. I'd say Netanyahu has just manipulated Trump as he's been doing for years.

In his 5 months in charge he has done more damage than his entire first term, one of the reasons I think he got elected was his podcast interviews with Theo Von and Joe Rogan, and winning over a significant new reach. Theo was rightfully calling out restraint, and questioning the Republicans pandering to Israel, and the influential AIPac financial lobby. The world seams a lot more unsettled and divided the past 5 months . Worrying times.

There is one thing that debaters here will have to take and keep in mind where it comes to Trump having USAF bomb Iran's nuclear sites inside Iran proper, and that he used US Federal Military forces to do so, making it a direct state on state act of war. Trump has given Iran a Casus Belli. Iran does NOT have to respond in a way or manner that the belligerent wants. Trump using the tactics Netanyahu had his military use in Gaza of telling the native population to get out of town as we are going to bomb the **** out of your town legitimizes the Iranian regime's use of whatever tactics it chooses in response to the U.S bombings.

I do not know yet what practical effect the bombing will have had on the nuclear materiel located at the three sites, reference fusion and/or fallout or even if it is possible.

On another front, Trumps Pentagon has changed the military control of its base in Greenland from it's European Command to its U.S. Northern Command. Naturally Denmark and the native locals in Greenland are a bit miffed at this other unilateral action by the U.S.

While Trump & Co are behind both moves, they are the official representatives of the U.S. and are unassailable. The poor person wearing and sounding like a yank will end up footing the bill, at home or abroad.

Iran are not close to developing a nuclear weapon.

Netanyahu has been claiming they are close since 1995...

There is no such thing. Netanyahu has been peddling this lie since the nineties. It's rather pathetic that the actual American president can be so easily led and hoodwinked.

The US history of destabilising the middle east has tended to lead to radicalization. So I wouldn't be too optimistic about this having positive consequences.

The Jewish people (pick your definition) are a minority inside the area whose borders Israel controls. Palestine is like the Homeland states used to be in South Africa. A cheap source of labour with no voting rights, no privileges, and almost no control over access in and out.

By that definition Israel is not a democracy. And even if it was democracies can be undermined by right wingers stroking up an internal / external enemy that only they can deal with.

Call us back when there's a US backed regime change that doesn't lead to a failed state or a totalitarian government.

Even US intelligence has said the same.

Utterly mindblowing stuff all to protect a powerful pro-Israel lobby.

Netanyahu played trump, trump had no option but to bomb those nuclear sites after Israel began their campaign.

    The next step is

    A) the mental gymnastics to justify or

    B) lip service criticism together with claim others have done worse

No, I really don't care either way, but blaming Trump on the Democrats is a complete cop-out. The Democrats have been feeble, agreed, but the main problem is that too many Americans are stupid, ill-educated and brainwashed. And that is down to a lifetime of flag-worship, poor education, insularity, consumerism, and personal insecurity created by the 'might, and wealth, is right' system. Their total conviction that they have rights and freedom has perversely led to a lack of, and distain for, personal rights and freedoms. They pretty much believe anything they are told by snake-oil salesmen, whether of a political or religious flavour.

Btw - throwback to 3 days ago when Carlson made Cruz slip up and say "we" when talking about actions against Iran.

We've gone in 3 days from saying we are merely backing them up to taking the action and credit.

There wasn't much resistance in the USA to begin with. Netenyahu got 28 standing ovations while addressing a joint sitting of the Senate and Congress.

They both have a promised land mindset that absents them from any feelings of wrongdoing.

So the stuff about two weeks was a load of bollocks then ? I must say I’m shocked by that.

Such wars usually arise closer to election time when polls matter more- but I can’t help but think this will give Trump a major boost in poll ratings - I also can’t see Democrats winning the next presidential election - if you create a war footing situation then “might is right” tends to be the election theme.

It remains to be seen how Russia responds in all of this and just how much more escalation occurs- Iran needs Russian support but does this become some sort of world war by proxy?

China may well take advantage by stirring things elsewhere - Taiwan for example - world is getting more fcked by the day
