They stick a tube into you and suck blood out. Don't think that's technically a bite.

As. IF! No, the fecker stung me through two layers of fabric!! (Not for nothing it's called "where the sun doesn't shine".)

Said we wouldn’t have dessert in restaurant. Instead get ice cream in shop across road. Restaurant took ages to bring the bill. By time we left shop was closed.

Used to get bitten by Horseflys when swimming in the river as kids. They'd really lift you out of it.

And that's not maybe - ants, earwigs and bumble bees have all had a lump out of me but the horsefly was the longest lasting most irritating oh and initially painful nip.

Wife 'treated' me to an ice cream cone earlier. Got me to hold hers for a second as she picked up a punnet of strawberries from the same berry farm as I waited in the car.

As soon as I got hold of both cones, they essentially imploded, destroying my t-shirt and spraying flecks of ice-cream all over the steering wheel, drivers door etc.

And the smell of dairy now is permeating everywhere with the heat.

I know but this one must've been the size of a cargo plane, I swear I can almost see the teeth marks.

ordered something online from a business here. At the point of ordering it was ‘in stock’….Their warehouse is 7.5 kilometres away from me here.

Why does it take 10 days from ordering to get delivered when they have it in a warehouse about 15 -20 minutes away from me ?

That must be Nigel with the brie...

I hated it too and used to be forced to watch it, your post brought up repressed memories. 😂. I've never seen the films but Mark Kermode's review of the sequel is a good laugh.

If you get a year's dog license you can no longer get the lifetime dog license. WTF. The state is acting like **** Ryanair.

Getting picked on by someone in work with clear anger issues.

A few weeks ago, after a string of daily barbed comments directed towards me, I stood up for myself, his face dropped and he said back 'me and you are DONE'.

Has blanked me ever since, fair enough, but it came to a head this morning. When I was sorting out parcels for delivery, he flung one belonging to my duty on the floor. I said 'you could have at least handed to me' (in case it broke or whatever) and he shouted back at me, in front of whatever colleagues were present, 'don't you EVER talk to me'. Twice. It was embarassing and completely unneccesary.

It'll poke at me all weekend now, and strongly considering having a word to the manager before it explodes further.

Checked my shoes after my parkrun this morning - a hole has appeared in the upper and I've only done 145 miles. Going to have to get a new pair now🙄.

The way some modern singers pronounce when they sing. Totally unnatural.

Tom Grennan has just come on the radio, singing A Little Bit of Love, and the 1st verse sounds like he's trying not to say the words. Weird.

I think there's some Irish band that does it too. Is it Picture This.

Yeah, people telling you how good the weather is. I can bloody well see and feel how good it is, why do you want to tell me, do you think I look stupid?

Wake me up when it's all over.

Would probably need the UN's chief negotiators to make any headway with that, he's so pig-headed. Instead, I'm compiling a book of evidence and have witnesses from colleagues who seem to be siding with me.

    Having a different straightener instead

The heat. Dear God the heat.

Having a miserable time of it here in London.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

It does get hot over there. Hit forty one year I was working around the south east.

It's the same here (in Dublin), horrible dead heat. I was very cranky out in it this morning. Came home as quick as I could get things done and barricaded myself indoors for most of the day.

    I don't like it one bit 🥵

Can you break that down sloooowly please

Woke up to a fresh dog shoite on our driveway. Not far from the front door.

There are no dogs around here not walked by owners. So that did not happen without awareness

    Disgusting people

Running into the one person I wanted to avoid at a funeral. Ended up sitting next to them in the church. Spent most of the mass thinking up a way to get away once I'd offered my condolences to the family.

Time to put childish things aside.

My sons girlfriend of six years is very lazy. She sits and watches him prepare all their meals, he then cooks and cleans - up, without her ever offering to help him.

Apart from that I do like her, Its just annoying to think that it wouldn't kill her to give him a hand now and again.

Irish beaches on sunny weekends attract the worst dregs of humanity.

Moreso if the beach is served by public transport.

Irish people's inability to operate outside a temperature range of about 12 to 18C. Anything below that is "freezing" and anything higher might as well be the sulferous depths of hell itself.
