Your post is absolute horsesh*t. Israel would be absolutely fine if it made a genuine attempt to destroy Hamas while also trying to limit civilian casualties. Their is zero danger of Israel getting wiped off the map.

So you admit it's unverified and yet every idiot in the west is accepting it as fact. Thanks for confirming

There's no focus on Hamas refusal to a ceasefire because it doesn't suit people's anti Israel agenda . As for the Gazans, since when did Hamas ever care for them?

Yes I agree , it would leave Israel with no excuse but then we go back to paragraph 1. Hamas don't care. Neither does their paymasters Iran.

Well Israel should let journalists in then so we can try and ascertain the truth. What excuse will you come up with to defend Israel not allowing journalists in. I notice you are quick to question sources selectively yet are happy to readily accept whatever the IDF says despite their history of telling lies. Unlike you, due to your bias, I acknowledge both sides are likely to lie, that's why journalists should be allowed in, not just ones who go on an IDF guided tour.

On your other point, even if Hamas surrendered, Nethanyu would still try to continue the war because he wants to stay in power and in order to do that he must satisfy the far right headbangers whose goal is to remove the Palestinians from Gaza. They have openedly declared it, yet still have not been fired from government, but of course when Israeli figures issue genocidal rhetoric we can dismiss it as just that or they don't have any real influence. Some might find that hypocritical, but probably not Pro Israelis.

It's impossible for me to comprehend that this is allowed, facilitated, trumpeted, ignored, celebrated, profited from, in 2025.

We live in a world where the Chinese are successfully cleansing the Uighurs and you act shocked? In a world where Nigerian Christians are purged in their thousands by Islamic Nigerians. It's happening all around you. It's just one conflict gets most of the limelight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,122 ✭✭✭SuperBowserWorld

That was my point, despite all the limelight, it's still happening!!! In 2025 with instant communication in HD from anyone, this is happening.

The Nazis could operate in darkness and primitive communications in 1930s/1940s, these ****** are operating in the glare of 2025 communication technology and getting away with it.

Difficult to comprehend how anyone could seek to try and justify the deliberate starvation of a civilian population. But we already knew that every hate filled racist and scumbag on social media was on board the Zionist train - harder to understand how politicians and media in the West are okay with it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,122 ✭✭✭SuperBowserWorld

I can't comprehend it. I think if one is on the hyper consumerism gravy train then this is like a fly in the ointment. It becomes an annoyance for some regime to deal with, so you don't have to read about it anymore.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,101 ✭✭✭✭Strazdas

Large numbers of people should clearly be on trial at future war crimes trials, including western politicians and media who effectively were cheerleading for it.

It's the first time I can ever recall politicians and media actively supporting a genocide (and yes, denying a genocide is happening when you know or suspect it is make you an active participant).

So the United Nations is lying then and Israel is the beholder of all of the truth?

Surely you would want journalists to go into Gaza to report on the facts, no?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭DayInTheBog

It's starvation because Hamas as taking the food. Plenty of footage online to verify that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,094 ✭✭✭Sudden Valley

I guess the UN is not backing up what Israel is telling its supporters so must be ignored.

You really are all over the shop lately in your irrational attempts to defend the indefensible. How anyone can support what Israel is doing is absolutely beyond me. Firstly do you honestly think Israel is providing enough food and aid for 2 million people? Secondly show us proof that Hamas have stolen all the food and aid for 2 million people.

I'm not doing your homework for you. It's a war and sadly sometimes wars are dirty and horrible things happen to people.

I never saw any threads on here when Yemen said Israeli war planes hit refugee centres.

I'm not so naive to think bad things aren't happening but we're only hearing the Hamas viewpoint. The day the rocket hit a hospital everyone on here was aghast at Israel hitting a hospital . It was headlines in every news bulletin. As soon as it was found it was a Hamas rocket that fell in a hospital car park it was quietly dropped. No one was up on arms at Hamas dropping rockets on Gazan hospitals.

    You wanted a link

As I said, all over the place. Try and stick to the point you made. You made it, now back it up.

Do you want to answer either of the 2 questions I asked you? I don't expect answers or course.

I loved this fake old line - "It's a war and sadly sometimes wars are dirty and horrible things happen to people.". Does he realise that it's only the Palestinians that are starving and dying and getting maimed in 2025? Incredible blinkers.

But what are you gonna do. Nobody wants their own nations intervening in foreign wars. Sure we're neutral. Why isn't our army marching into Nigeria trying to stop the Muslims slaughtering Christian women and children.

Obviously we're just 1 of 200 plus countries around the world but the only solution would break UN led army (not peace keepers) that'll go in. It'll inevitably come a croper though.

Ukraine and Russia both think they're and various countries support both sides. Iran and Israel both think they're right and various countries support both sides.

We're a tribal race and have been warring for millions of years. While billions believe in aggressive expansionist religions like Christianity or Islam that's not gonna help either.

The only thing that surprises me is how select conflicts like Ukraine/Russia or Israel/Gaza get put on a pedestal or so strongly supported by activists while other important deadly conflicts are a complete after thought.

In future, the current Genocide in Gaza could be called the Palestinian Holocaust - and Palestinian Holocaust denial made a crime.

    Certainly possible.

Ah yeah, but remember, Netanyahu's kid had to cancel his wedding…TWICE.

    What a trooper.

Ah sure another cold poster was upset because a soccer match in Israel was delayed a couple of hours. Oh the humanity.

I would imagine why there is more interest in Israel/Palestine is that it has been an ongoing warzone for almost a century, and in reality the creation of Israel was backed by European powers(Britain) for European Jews and they are firmly backed by many Western powers. Likewise Russia/Ukraine is a European affair and a continuation of the Cold War between East/West.

Nigeria and China are very much of lesser interest as they don't impact the West as much I would say. Ditto Sudan.

202 Palestinians slaughtered in the last 48 hours. The IDF using the Iranian war as a distraction so they can mutilate civilians under cover

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,633 ✭✭✭newport2

That, and the fact that Israel's genocide is the only one that the West is currently facilitating.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 447 ✭✭meepins

    "The IDF…mutilate civilians.."

Carefully now. There's a glut of Israeli agents patrolling the board and this kind of talk will get their hackles up.😂

Edit: Reports of missile strikes in Tel Aviv hitting a couple of minutes ago, so maybe they've scurried back into their tunnels. The coast may be clear for a bit.😄

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭DayInTheBog

Plenty of tunnels in Gaza. O wait, Hamas wouldn't let the civilians use them.

As for killings , how many were Hamas fighters. An important question, no one ever answers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 447 ✭✭meepins

I don't know about that but I do know that Arabs that are in Israel aren't allowed to have bomb shelters. Supposedly they have to share what the Jews have, but that doesn't happen.

"As for killings how many were Hamas fighters" I suppose you're referring to the slaughter happening when people are completely vulnerable going for food aid and the IDF machine gun them down? Blaming that on Hamas is credible for you when Israel is in the middle of a genocide?

I asked you 2 questions yesterday. You ran away. Please answer them.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Firstly I'm not on the ground and neither are you. So we can only take the reports we see. We see different reports based on our individual biases.

Have the stolen All the food aid? I don't know they stole it all and you don't know the stole none. Video evidence Ive seen shows convoys being robbed and food meant for the people being sold in markets but if your not looking for that, you won't see it. Google is great that way

What we do know is that millions of dollars sent to Gaza to help the people when in building tunnels and acquiring munitions. Why wasn't it spent on the people it was supposed to be spent on. Gaza could have prospered will all the money that went it's way. Instead it became a hotbed for construction and procurement. If they'd rob Millions to fund their hate campaign, it's not beyond a reasonable conclusion to say they wouldn't hesitate with regards food and medicine. They have to feed their "staff" somehow.

As for running away , I don't have time to be answering every question everyone asks on boards.

My opinion isn't going to change what's happening. I don't see myself as certain idiots in the news recently who thought they could influence a decision in another part of the world.
