Edwin Jagger DE89 replacement handle?

Folks, my venerable DE89 handle has given up the ghost, the plastic/bakelite has cracked and the ferrule holding the head into the handle won't seat in the handle anymore.

I picked up a cheap stainless steel handle but I should've checked the fit on what I had. The new handle is a female screw thread whereas the DE89 head appears to be a compression fit.

So, I'm looking for advice on where to source a new handle? As Edwin Jagger don't seem to sell just that part.

I doubt you'll find just the handle but you should be able to pick up a new DE89 for 30 quid on Amazon Germany

An alternative idea would be to get a different 3 piece razor of a different style - open comb of slant bar - and swap the handle between them. I think most 3 piece handles will be interchangeable from the likes of Muhle, EJ, Merkur

Thanks Frank, I've been using my DE89 for 13 years now and I'm happy with the geometry. I'll take your advice on board and see what I can manage with a mix and match approach.
