That rear is horrendous.

I like the look of that - usable size too. Pricing will have to be on the right side of the Megane to make an impact I reckon.

When is it coming to the Irish market?

Nissans warranty terms for the battery need to be checked.

There was some talk that Nissan *might* have changed their warranty terms after 2022.

But the bottom of the screen small print terms when I saw the new Leaf on Nissans Uk site.

Still looked like the old crappy terms where the 8 year warranty was for battery degradation ONLY.

Meaning that if you have bad cells or the like - you will find Nissan refusing warranty past 5 years and 60,000 miles if the battery still has 70 percent capacity on Nissans diagnostics.

Even if the bad cells are so bad the car won't even drive......

That's because the bad cell is considered a component and therefore part of the 5 year or 60,000 mile warranty to use UK terms.

You can say what you like about Tesla but unless Tesla think you've messed up the battery yourself.

ANY battery issue seems to be addressed by Tesla under the 8 year warranty no questions asked.

As it should be......

As an EV enthusiast I get annoyed when EV manufacturers stupid decisions undermine EVs.

There's not enough swear words in the dictionary to go through what I think of how Porsche do EV recalls for example
