Solar Panels Or Metal Solar Roof

Hi all.

I've an old shed with asbestos cement sheeting which I'm getting professionally removed. I'm planning on putting solar panels on the roof and was thinking that some metal sheeting might be best for fixing the solar panels to it. However, I was looking at a website online earlier and it seems that there is a 2 in 1 roofing system that incorporates metal sheets and solar panels on them so this might be an option. Has anyone any experience of these or would I be better off getting it roofed with metal sheeting and then getting solar panels ? It's a blank canvas so any advice is welcome. Metal sheeting may or may not be the best material for fixing solar panels to, I don't know, so please feel free to recommend. Thanks.

No issue with metal sheeting, it all needs to be earth bonded anyway, so all works out from from that perspective. I'd go with the sheeting and panels rather than an integrated system as you can swap out the panels later on down the road should you desire.
