re mental decline did we see an example of it right in front of our eyes when opening that EO type folder in front of an open air press conference with K. Starmer standing beside him. He opened the folder and a number of LOOSE SHEETS of paper fell out and Starmer bent down to pick them up while Trump struggled to stuff the ones hanging out of the folder back in.

In normal situations - AND AT THAT LEVEL - not only would you know what the written/typed notes are about in the folder but you would also know the approx number of sheets in it - be it one or five or fifteen or what? Trump himself would have known , and especially his managers, how the sheets of paper were secured OR OTHERWISE in the EO type folder.
so when Trump was on the plinth with Starmer with his folder he would have been expected to open it for all to ‘SEE’ the contents- in this case the ‘ commercial’ deal signed with the UK.

The whole episode indicated to me that the side of Trumps brain that handles proceedure, actions , etc, got disconnected from that part of his brain which deals with sorting out the consequences of possible actions Hence a DECLINE IN BRAIN FUNCTION

It’s like someone buying a half dozen eggs and a stone of spuds and then putting the eggs into your carrier bag first and ‘banging’ in the spuds on top of them and then expect the eggs to remain unbroken. Your brain does not connect the action with the VERY possible consequences

And you would have an assistant who is of sufficient quality to think - he will open this to wave it about, maybe I had better fix the sheets in place somehow.

forgot to mention that it may not be an example of mental decline. The sheets of paper fell out because that f——r , Biden and his troupe must have got at the folder and removed the security tags keeping the sheets in their place!!!!!!!!!!!

Trumps age and decline is showing and im not confident he can keep on top of the chaos he is creating, his own maga style is taking a physical and mental toll

Those penguins are also well known to be way better at parade marching than the Yanks.

I saw Christine Amanpour of CNN International saying on Sunday that Trump is an absolute idiot, surrounded by absolute idiots - he hasn't got the faintest clue what he is doing re. foreign policy. The proverbial bull in a china shop.

Did Trump scamper back home because Zelensky was coming to the G7?

Being reported as due to Middle East… rumours US may join attack on Iran or give Israel the bunker buster bombs needed to hit the deep nuclear facilities.

US President Donald Trump has left the Group of Seven summit in Canada a day early due to the situation in the Middle East, the White House has said. French President Emmanuel Macron said Mr Trump had made an offer for a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, a claim the US President has since denied.

After all the stress and emotion of the last few days he could simply be exhausted. At 79 he could well be discovering how the body doesn't recover as quickly as it used to.

The moves by the Trump administration to conceal, distort, or falsify economic and financiial data on the US economy are not only disturbing: they are basically mad and futile.

    https://www.thenation.com/article/economy/trump-manipulate-economic-data-fesac/

For example Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick wants to revise the way GDP is measured, basically by excluding Government expenditures. National Income accounts are done according to an internationally agreed set of rules. Whithout that, you could not compare one country's GDP with another (not that this is straigtforward iat present).

Lutnick as former CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald either knows how mad this is, in which case he is a complete charlatan, or else he doesn't know, in which case he is a gibbering idiot, Take your pick

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

It’s clear Trump and Israel are working hand in hand- this is all well planned - Trump knew the 60 day deadline would pass- he knows he now has very extreme demands placed on Iran (give up nuclear) that they won’t concede to - it’s a faitcomplit - given more US warships in transit it’s a matter of days before we’ll see some serious fireworks in Iran - you can see through Trumps lies a lot more clearly now than ever before- everything to date with Israel was pure choreography - US and Israel are one- it’s no surprise given what Trump is doing to people in America - two sides of the same coin

Just as Trump and Putin are as one .

How long will the “allies” pretend not to see this deviousness?

Trump acting up at home, the EU is not offering a good trade deal is his latest. I really do get Trump now and this notion that he's a transactional president. he's so dug into what he sees is the way to get deals done, the way he's done business deals all his life that he thought he could transfer that style into country to country, bloc to bloc, international deals with lots of civil service heads having input into the final deal. The diplomacy probably wrecks his head, having to treat the other heads of state politely as equals when it comes to "the communique", damn it, don't they know I'm president?…

My understanding is even bunker busters won't penetrate the actual mountain one of the Iranian facilities is under.

Just hours after the killings and shootings of those Democratic politicians and their spouses, Trump wrote a post that included the line, “Radical Left Democrats are sick of mind, hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities.”

Only a deeply troubled person could do that. No sense of empathy, or understanding of cause and effect, or even just basic decorum. He is a sociopath.

Theres not an ounce of diplomacy or respect in him...

US President Donald Trump has said he did not plan to call Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee in 2024, after a weekend shooting left one of the state's Democratic politicians dead and another injured.

    ...

"I think the governor of Minnesota is so whacked out. I'm not calling him. Why would I call him?" Mr Trump told reporters on Air Force One on the way back from a trip to Canada for a meeting of G7 leaders.

"The guy doesn't have a clue. He's a mess. So I could be nice and call him, but why waste time?"

    Well, A few thoughts.

    • At the G7 he could get hourly briefings on developments if he wanted, but currently it's just Israel and Iran bombing the shite out of each other, but it's cooler to be able to tell the press "I'm convening my war cabinet in the sit room"
    • He got a frosty reception from the other leaders, especially from Mark Carney
    • The Tarriff discussion was not going his way
    • Was meant to have a meeting with Volodimir Zelensky today, probably another frosty discussion. It'd be great to avoid that awkward conversation.
    • In the Whitehouse, he can select who from the press asks him questions, at the G7, it's a free for all by the worlds press. Not ideal.
    • There was no gold decor in the hotel in Canada.
    • No president has ever been as treated as unfairly as he has. Not even the ones who were killed in office.

The Americans have the equipment to make a dent in it, but will they get involved.

I had thought someone would tried to cash in on the MEGA mood earlier with a "Freedom Phone", but they'd be up against brand Trump who could shape tariffs to suit his own gold plated "Trump 1" phone!

I created a meme a while back with DJT in the Oval Office with a penguin beside him. DJT is saying "I'm the President of the Unites States", and the penguin is saying "Pffft! Dude, I'm an Emperor".

The second generation of that phone will be called T2. Not sure that's a good name for something full of AI software 🤣

I presume Putin wouldn't have travelled to the G7 anyway. He would have been put in many awkward situations. Also, Canada is in the ICC....

You don't necessarily need to destroy the facility under the mountain, just destroy the entry points. How you get personnel and supplies in and out of it. It'll take the iranians at least a month to rebuild that part of it. The day after it's complete, go and blow that up again.

a person with a personality disorder such as trumps tends to gain more energy from chaos, the creation of more and more chaos tends to not phase them much at all, as they tend to thrive under such conditions, i.e. hes doing just fine!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,916 ✭✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

     i.e. hes doing just fine!

I'm reading Original Sin the book about the cover up about Bidens decline. That phrase was repeated by his inner circle over and over "He's fine!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,187 ✭✭✭✭Wanderer78

this is different different, biden does not show signs of a pd(personality disorder), pd's truly do gain energy from the chaos they create, biden was clearly showing rapid signs of decline during his presidency, trump on the other hand is clearly gaining in many ways, in particular in his overall wealth and power, this is gonna get messier and messier!
